  1. Did this ever get sorted , I’m having the same problem , thanks
  2. I’ve done a bit of research online and thinking it could be one of the relays under the dashboard. Anybody have any thoughts about this?
  3. I’ve tested all fuses ,all ok. Every fuse in correct location with correct rating
  4. Thankyou Pip , I never knew about the silver black thing on the fuse locations . I will go and check and retest the fuses while I’m there
  5. Is there any special sequence you have to go through
  6. Did wonder about that , do you know how to deactivate it.
  7. Yes , I checked them too and also tested the relay switch 100 there which was working .
  8. Reconnected battery and still no power to dashboard or ignition
  9. Have charged the battery and will try again to start it
  10. I have now checked the fuses , all good and all in the correct positions
  11. Its It’s a 2011 , Mark 1 1598cc Skoda Octavia Elegance
  12. Ok I will check this and test each of the fuses . One thing I did find that there was a five amp fuse in the location of the heated front seat position . It should have been a 30 amp fuse for this location apparently . As I don’t have a heated front seat I just removed it as I thought it shouldn’t be there . When the car wouldn’t start I put it back but still nothing
  13. Thankyou John , apologies, I’m new here . it’s a Skoda Octavia Elegance TDI CR
  14. Hi JR , thanks for your reply, I removed the negative cable from the battery post . I set the multimeter to 10 amps and connected it between them . it showed I had a draw of 1.7 amps . I then removed the fuses one at a time but came up with no change . I then tried to start the car but it was completely dead . Battery still had a reading of 12.7
  15. Hi , I performed a parasitic draw test on my Skoda elegance. I went to try and start the car afterwards and now my ignition is dead. I have no dash lighting and no crank . I do have power to the radio, interior lights and side lights but nothing on anything that requires the ignition to be on . The battery is fully charged Could anyone advise me on what to do or what could be the problem . thanks in advance
