  1. thanks, we will have the same car
  2. It looks great, is it Titan blue or race blue? I am in doubt in color and Titan blue looks so different depending on the ligth of the day
  3. mm, that explain things. If you set "Please allow battery usage" to ON (green) the heater should be strong enough (by what I have read so far). Still it will eat the battery and I have seen a lot of people complaining about error in the app, as you have mentioned. I hope they have fixed when I receive the car.
  4. Thanks for the info Teemu, I have a friend with BMW PHEV and he said there is no need for webasto. I am wondering if skoda implementation is that inferior, in special in this case that the bmw is already 2 years old and smaller battery. Did you have the option in the app "allow to use battery" (or something like that) in the pre-heating options? maybe it was only taking from the cable and that explain why it was weak.
  5. Unfortunately there is not much information related to the topic. The battery is strong enough to run the car, should be enough to heat the car as well. Think in the scenario you haven't pre-heat the car and start driving in batteries, you would turn on the heat anyway. The range of the battery is the only drawback I can think. I didnt find information in how much it would be used, but from my reading I am guessing from 5-30% I will use the car in a 3 years leasing, it is difficult to justify 1k euro to extend the battery in ~15%
  6. I am selecting optionals in a skoda octavia iv PHEV. i live in Finland therefore I do need pre heat the car, but is it worth to pay 1k for webasto or can I do the same with the battery? what are the limitations using the battery to remote pre heat the car?
