  1. yes, calls and audio streaming, mic is £8 from ebay, dont know if you can add mfsw, may need wiring.
  2. rns315 in the blackline has the bluetooth built into the headunit, you have to activate it with vcds, you might have the option already on the mfd, if not then its vcds, all blacklines that ive seen with dsg have multi function steering, ive never seen mfs on manual,
  3. these are what i ordered but obviously other brands are available, front JGM1030T rear JGT448T eibach -20 springs add what ever you want in basket then wait a couple of days, you'll get a whopping 41% off, it cost me £260ish for shocks and the springs, just the springs are around £200 from uk for some reason,
  4. it's about the same but feels more premium if that make sense, the shocks were standard replacements and eibach -20mm springs, yes it lowered but only minor,
  5. update it worked fine on monday, yesterday started doing it again but it's worse than before can't be bothered with it no more, apologies if not allowed car is on ebay
  6. update it was the barrel that was faulty, had load of debris in the key hole and the pins were getting stuck, anyway got a second hand off a suberb from the scrappers all sorted
  7. when i was looking at suspension for mine i came across the stanced but from the reviews most were saying it's a hard ride and failed shocks, in the end went with trw shocks and eibach springs cost was around 270 from autodoc (ended up selling to mate) however the ride quality is superb, nice and softish around town and fantastic on the twistys, car feels level and firm around coners
  8. DON'T GET CHEAP AFTERMARKET just get second hand genuine or get brand-new genuine
  9. part number is 1k0905851b, i presume from the dealers it will get expensive new cheap aftermarket here is £35 come with switch, ignition lock and barrel with keys, this key blade will not unlock door manually, you will have to use old key blade, your key fob will still work to lock/unlock car,if fob is near barrel then car will start with new keys, you will need this key blade get it cut to the new key from new barrel and swap it to fob, or you can get full second hand barrel set like this which includes door lock just swap key blades to your fob, as above all guides are available on youtube hope that helps.
  10. i changed the switch and made no difference, i'm just about to change the ignition lock, can i start the car without airbag connected, is it safe?
  11. yes, ive been meaning to update thread, it's either the ignition barrel or the switch at the end of barrel, i have to remove/insert/wiggle key slowly for it to start, if i remove key instantly the rad fan switches on for few minutes after car is locked, when i insert key and try to start most times it fires up straight away when it doesn't start i have wiggle key but then i get random electric fault codes ive ordered barrel with keys and new switch, still not turned up, when/if fixed ill update
  12. cega engine hi guys cars had a slight leak for awhile now but it's getting worse, can hear hissing when on load, no lights on dash, no limp, drives fine jusr with slight power loss i'm going to change all hoses which intercooler hoses do i need? i've searched but there's hoses with and without bayonet fittings any part numbers anyone can help me with TIA
  13. i did extent research on this, spent weeks going through part numbers/website/forums etc.. i think parts at breakers will also be rusty probably worse than yours, unless you can find a lowish milage car, in my experience theres not that much of a price difference i bought full lemforder bushes inc bolts/washers and trw shocks with eibach springs, bushes and bolts were £220ish and shocks and springs were £280ish, i ended up selling to my mate, we fitted them with not much issue, still a faf though, the spring seat arm inner bolt on passenger side was seized, we just used a grinder to chop it off, in total took about 5 hours to do for front and rear, we also sprayed all arm with cheap satin black, it dried quick and did the job also got it 4 wheel aligned made a huge difference the way the car drives, bush removal tool was £50ish from amazon or you can get full bush kit from psb for £170ish or rear kit only for £120ish with lifetime warranty but you'd have to buy bolts separately you can get good quality full rear set up (already pressed in new metal) for £300ish inc bolts (meyle, lemforder, optimal) this will be a lot easier and this is the route i will be taking, for £160ish you can get cheaper set from ebay but quality won't be all that, there is another set for £260 with all bolts i dont know the quality on that my car was very unstable on motorway or anywhere over 50mph, skipping and bouncing over bumps, just by changing the rear shocks (sachs) its made a massive difference, will be doing the rest in the next few weeks, hope that helps, any other questions fire away,
  14. yes i've had a good read last night thanks, update today was checking fuses on side of dash there were 2 blown fuses in the middle, replaced them still no start, checked ecu no signs of damage, disconnected battery for an hour, reconnected battery then fired up instantly only test drove for ten minutes seems fine, however throttle pedal feels soft i have to press more, so maybe related to the p0121 code will update after further investigation
  15. update checked fuel filter, removed low pressure pump all is clean, vcds scan not showing p0087 anymore but this code keeps coming back 001542 - Internal Control Module P0606 - 000 - Processor Fault still not starting any advice cheers
