hi everyone! it could be something so simple like the tinted windows foil has metal in it and then the whole car becomes as a big "Faraday shield". In basic english, it becomes itself as a cage were very little electromagnetic waves can get inside of it. A friend of mine experienced something similar with a gps device. We hade the same tinted windows, but I had and external antenna. Both cars the same and my gps signal was full throttle and his almost nothing... I would try to use an external dab antenna...
