ok thanks for the info ,how much bhp are you pushing ? with your hybrid turbo ? I am wondering if i should just get a good remap , 140 would actually be fine as alsp drive my partners Audi A1 with 140bhp and it really fast , its 150kg lighter that my 1.2 Beetle which would help but i am impressed with it even with 5 people , it pull very well , I have A audi TT as well so I know what fast is !!! and I have always said if I had to drive a non sports car the 1.4 tsi engine i think is the best engine with remap 190 bhp it would probably be faster than my TT as power to weight ratios would be better .

I dont have the dollars for hybrid turbo and I want to keep it wallet friendly , so are you saying a mk 2 fabia has ea111 engine fitted with bigger turbo ? how much do these hybrid turbos go for ? I am only after about 150 bhp

No turbo as the turbos listed on this forum seem to be for EA211 engines , I am looking for a turbo that is compatible with my 1.2 EA111 engine ,if you can point me to any threads that cover this that would be helpful

That was so helpful its a ea111 , so how do i know which bigger turbo will work with my engine any help would be appreciated

I was just thinking my car is a 2012 so that should be a EA211 ? how can I tell which engine I have ?

ok thanks , I would have bought the wrong one , how would you suggest i go about finding a compatible donor turbo ? ,my car is a 2012 ,I do know someone with Audi A1 with a 140 bhp turbo 2014 could I use that as a template ?

Thanks for the info , I only want to do the mod as it quiet cheap to buy a used turbo , are you saying that none of the bigger turbos will fit or is it a compatibility issue ?

that's impressive figures , can't seem to find a cat back for a vw beetle 1.2 tsi or any decent air intakes so may have to settle for just a panel filter , How would you describe the difference in driving compared to stock ?

Thanks for al information provided , after reading through the posts , I think I will just settle for a reamp as I don't want to lose torque , can any one confimr what a standard remap would give without any mods ,i would possibly love to get a sports cat at a later date or a catback exhaust not sure if there is any benift of doing the latter .

cost ? I can get one of the listed turbos for 150.00 hybrid turbos sound expensive like 500.00 ? can you confirm ? and do you still need to remap ? Thanks D
