Hi everyone, so I've probably made a big mistake! Recently acquired Octavia with cloth seats that were perfect and in my trying to protect them I've messed up. Used a small new paint roller to apply Dodo Juice Supernatural fabric sealant and it has left watermark type stains in places. What do you advise to rectify please? Thank you for your help

Hi, relatively new to this forum and I'm no car expert but I do have high standards when choosing a used vehicle. For me it's a combination of all of the above, the dealer must be decent, drives well, condition inside and out of very good quality (if not pristine) and the right service history in place. Never accept compromises and be prepared to walk away if you're not completely happy with something. I've recently picked up an ex-motability Octavia VRS and I hope it serves me well in line with my original judgement (fingers crossed anyway!). Best of luck with everything.

Morning everyone, I looked around online for carpet mats and in the end I went got them from carmats4u. They seem decent quality for the money and better thickness than the stock Skoda carpets (Czech marked) that were already in there, which I assume weren't the premium ones as they seem thin. I can't comment on the rubber ones though as I never have them. Cheers ,

Is any one going for this? Newly acquired 67 plate petrol Octy VRS 230 with DSG, 13,500 miles, 1 owner. Thinking about getting an extended warranty as a bit nervous about the engine and gearbox reading about some of the VAG reliability issues. I'm well aware of the hoops and hurdles of extended warranty claims but never taken one out previously, that said this is my most expensive car to date. Am I worrying unnecessarily or would you go for an extended warranty? Thanks everyone

Checked today and it's only for PSA motors, no mention of VAG so no good. Any recommendations for oil please, having searched the forum Quantum keeps cropping up? Thanks again

Hi everyone, New to the Skoda brand, having just bought a 67 plate petrol auto VRS. For my sins, previous car was a Peugeot RCZ . Car was bought from an independent dealer and serviced by them in December 2020 with oil renewed, although no idea what they put in. If needed could I top up with Total 0W-30 Ineo First that I had with the Peugeot? I'm planning on getting a service with Skoda towards the end of the year, the previous service from them was done in 2019 on a long life, but that oil would have been renewed since then. Anyone recommend what oil and coolant I can top up with please until the Skoda service in 6 months? Thanks everyone
