  1. Thank you very much for your comprehensive reply, it was just the sort of information I was hoping for and so helpful. Thanks again.
  2. Yep, more than happy to trade a 150hp for a more powerful engine if the 4x4 version is going to tick my boxes.
  3. Thanks for the advice and for sharing your experience. I 've noted the 4x4 version is only very slightly raised higher than the standard model (1cm I think) and that alone makes tackling the bumpy narrow lanes and rutted tracks where I live a bit of a worry. And the other problem for me is when I hit the tarmac and need to journey up the motorway SUV's just don't cut it for me. so maybe an AWD XC70 or a VW Alltrack might be the answer? ....... But deep down I just want a Superb Mark 3..... ;-) ! Thanks for the advice and for sharing your experience. 4. Yes, what you've said is well known and every Winter I change both my vehicles to Winter tyres including my AWD Honda CRV. I'm simply curious to know if the 4x4 version of the Mark 3 adds any noticeable worthwhile advantage over the 2 wheel version because there aren't too many on line reviews and not many used ones for sale. However the emergency services use them where I live so I'm thinking there must be a worthwhile reason why because I'm sure they do their homework too before they buy.
  5. Hi, Does anyone have one of these please? Are they any good off road or in snow/ice etc? And which is best Manual or Auto? Thanks.
  6. Thanks. I think I'm going to stick to diesel. I had a Audi A4 Avant petrol TFSI. Great performance but way too thirsty
  7. Thank you for the advice. I'll be sure to check them before buying.
  8. Thank you very much for replying to my query and for the useful tips. Much appreciated
  9. Hi All. I'm a new member and live in Cornwall. I'm about to purchase a Superb Estate 2 litre 150 hp Manual 2016-2018. Can anyone offer any advice please on what is the best model to buy (I'm still a bit confused between the Business and Technology models) and any tips please on what to look out for. Thanks.
