It seems the Skoda Connect thing is not available in Australia so you can't do any of the app stuff. I've got enough to worry about with the car itself let alone the phone to operate too 🤪

I was wondering if I am supposed to get an inspection service done after a break in period with the new car? Is this a thing or do we wait until first service at 12 months /15000 km?

Interesting that you find same problems, I do love how it drives so that's a bonus and as you mention there could be other more serious problems. I'm also wondering wether to mention to the dealer . I have had more success with the boot opening by moving foot slowly across the underside of the bumper rather than the fast forward kick motion advised.

I am a new owner of the RS , purchased last week. I'm getting very frustrated with the inconsistency of the contactless boot open method and also trying to lock the car by touching the handle. Can never guarantee that it will work. Anyone else experience this?

I am a new owner , purchased last week of the RS . I'm finding the contactless boot opening extremely erratic as well as the touch to lock . Sometimes it works ,sometimes not. I have the key on me every time in proximity. Also the infotainment, key presses hit and miss. Not impressed and wonder whether to talk to dealer .apart from that love how it drives so far.
