Hi all, I have come from a petrol turbo and am looking for some advice about getting my vrs remapped. The car has around 45k miles on a 2015 plate, as it states in the title I have a dsg box. So there any evidence to say that you souls have the gearbox mapped as well. Thanks.

I am not great with audio will an amp need to be fitted to do this?

So I have an oDBEleven now but I seem to be able to select the byte_11_ it’s normally set to sound_system_internal I try to set it to Sound_system_internal_individual but it will not save or I do not know how to save it. Any advice would be a appreciated. 👍

I have a 2015 octavia, has anyone got a link for a reversing camera that they could recommend.

Hi, looking for some advice. I have a 2015 octavia vrs which I am looking to add a reversing camera, maybe not OEM but one that does the job. I am also wanting to upgrade the sound system as the original speakers are woeful. If any one has any recommendations for either I would appreciate it.

It's a very nice motor, the full skoda servicing helped sell it to me, I know you can have problems with the DSG box if its not looked after. The mrs has a A3 auto with the same engine and box so the skoda was a no brainer, plus its cheaper and a little bigger for work.

I haven't picked it up yet but its a race blue DSG Octavia I am sure it had 42k on the clock.

I have found an image of the head unit you can see it below. what do you mean by go between boxes I feel like I am asking a stupid question here? How much are we talking to supply a coded unit?

@MarkyG82I haven’t picked up the car yet so I am unsure of what the actual unit that is installed is. I have had a look at past posts but I am a little lost by it. Is @pab567 the guy to speak to when I get the car?

Hi, looking for some advice. I travel a fair bit for work but have brought a 2015 diesel octavia vrs with pretty low miles. From Rainworth Skoda Sheffield. I am wanting to upgrade the infotainment system I have seen that most Vags can use the RCD 330 head unit. I am unable to find much info if I will be able to use that in my octavia. my main reasoning is that the car doesn’t have a sat nav so Apple car play would come in clutch here, along with being able to play pod casts and such. I am not wanting to spend too much on the car in this capacity. Also any ideas on speaker upgrades would be appreciated. 👍
