  1. Hi, I’m trying to decide how to source a new Kodiaq and am looking at a few options, one of which is via a broker DriveTheDeal. So far the DTD website seems straightforward, a quick call with them answered courteously and clearly, and I’m wondering what the downsides are? Three things going through my mind are: 1. The car would be supplied by a dealer a long way away from me - but then again why should that matter? They deliver so why would I care? 2. Frankly I’ve never heard of them before and don’t know anyone who has used them. Has anyone used them for a Kodiaq? 3. How I might end up dealing with small queries if the supplying dealer is 600m away from me. I suppose I just call and hope they’ll help over the phone - but am I kidding myself? 4. And what happens for warranty and servicing in reality when the supply dealer is so far away - will my local dealership show any interest if they didn’t supply the car? I presume they will want the aftercare business but maybe I’m kidding myself…? Thoughts and opinions appreciated, especially if you’ve used DTD, good or bad! cheers
  2. Good to hear you got it sorted. Am interested to know - was the dealer that fixed it your local dealer or did you have to go elsewhere? Did the dealer that fixed it supply the car too? Reason for questions is that I’m thinking about ordering a Kodiaq sportline from a dealer a long way away where dropping it back to them would be totally impractical so reading your post and comments on customer service (or lack of) caught my attention…
