Hello,
every time I power up the car I get a warning, "Check left driving light" or something like that. Exception is that if I power up the car, and jiggle the light switch on-off-on-off-on at the same time for something like 5 cycles I DON'T get that warning as long as I live the switch to "ON". I can start the car and everything is just fine and dandy. I can take that beast for a 666 km ride and everything is just great - and when I say everything is just great, I mean that they're great to a certain point. That point is reached when I touch that light switch and turn the lights "OFF". After maybe 5 seconds after switching to "OFF", that warning light pops up again - "Check left driving light".
Yeah, well.. kudos to computer, bulb certainly ain't lit when the lights are off, but just.. what an earth?
So, the problem here is abnormal behaviour of warning light. Lights themselves are working perfectly. What's the deal with jiggling between on and off for numerous times - why that prevents warning to appear? Why it appears after about 5 seconds when I turn the lights off? And most importantly, how to fix this? It's more a nuisance than anything else, but that just bugs the life out of me.
I haven't tried new bulbs yet, but I switched right bulb to left and vice versa and nothing changed. I also tried some contact spray to bulb's base (what ever it is called?) and to light's wiring itself, but that didn't help. Any ideas?
