I have a 2021 Mk4 Octavia 140TSI Limited Edition Wagon. These were a launch model in Australia that had the same engine and DSG as the VRS, detuned to 140 kW. I've had the software issues with the infotainment system but that has been sorted out with the latest updates. Recently I have had an issues of the engine overheating under certain circumstances and I wonder if anyone here knows what's going on. The car will drive fine from cold but if I drive for more than 20 minutes then turn the car off and restart it within about 5 minutes, it gives me an engine warning, limits the revs to 3000 RPM and the temp gauge goes over the usual 90 deg level. If I turn the engine off and wait a bit longer, say 15 minutes, it will drive perfect and temp is fine. I have told the dealer and booked in for an inspection but they have cancelled on me 3 times saying their computer is not working. Is this a known issue with the EA888 or is it a faulty thermostat/water pump?

I have driven about 500 km since I picked it up and nothing unusual yet. I love the lane following on the freeway. Car play has been great. As someone else said, the rear camera stays on for a few seconds after you put it back in D.

I just picked up a new Limited Edition 140TSI Wagon and the software version is 1803.
