Will VCDS determine between a clockspring/squib or MFD roller-wheel fault?
Scout65 replied to Scout65's topic in Skoda Yeti
Thanks for replying so quickly. I wasn't sure if just one of the no doubt many wires in the squib could fail. It has occurred to me to do what you suggest but wary of leaving myslef carless if I mess up the removal of the airbag etc. Maybe an aerosal compressed air spray directed in the gaps would work... -
Hi, I've searched this and other forums extensively but cannot find an answer. Bought my first Yeti 5 weeks ago (2015 150hp DSG 4x4 SE L). The right hand roller-wheel that scrolls through the MFD menu works intermittently. It seems to work better when the car is cold or certainly for the first 30 minutes or so. ALL other functions work and there are no faults displayed on the dash etc. I've tried it with the steering wheel in different positions but this makes no difference (it doesn't create the fault or get rid of it). So, before I order the complete steering wheel control set here: steering wheel control button set left & right would VCDS or similar show which component or set of components are failing? i.e, the clockspring/squib or the MFD roller-wheel itself? Thanks for reading!

Hi. I hope it's ok to revive this thread two years down the line? Have just bought a 2015 Yeti SE L DSG 4x4 and there's no DAB signal. FM, satnav etc works fine. It's got the bee sting aerial (not sharks fin). I'm not sure if this has the seperate pre-amp unit or whetehr that's the shark fin version only? May I ask what your findings/resolution were? Many thanks

2015 Audi A3 interior fitted
Scout65 replied to Pitbull@Octavia's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Hpe it's ok to revive this topic. I recently bought an Octavia Scout 2016 (pre- 2017 facelift). I'm 65, have back/health issues and of course am suffereing with that sagging feeling low down on the right. I want to persevere with the car as liek it so much in all other respects. I've been reading this and other threads but struggling to find exactly which A3 or Golf model seats would fit the front. I do have heated seats so need to retain that. Searching Ebay has been fruitless as so many models/years etc. Any more pointers much appreciated. Have attached pics to avoid any confusion on which model I have. Thanks in advance.
