Where do you guys buy these black trims to a fair price? I got a mk3 pre facelift, and really want the chrome to be removed.

I guess I might have a very first edition mk3 or something 😂 All the others mk3 a find for sale, both have AUX and USB 🤷‍♂️

Thanks mate. Why did they go with this option though? Is it newer or older than the usb+AUX option Ive seen on some models.

Is there such a thing? I know Ford used to have their Ford Etis that regular users could use to hit up VIN numbers to check what parts their var was born with. That only works for pro users now though. Regards Daniel

Yeah that's not legal here. The edge of the rim has to be equal to the wheel arch. 🙄

Great site. So if i put a 19x8,5 ET40 and 19x9.5 ET45, they seem quite equal except the wider rims go further in. I wonder if a 5mm spacer would help. But maybe they will go pass the wheel arch which is illegal in my country. Can somesone maybe answer this? How far from the wheel arch are 19x8,5 ET40. Best Regards

So this has probably been asked before, but I couldnt find anything when searched. Just got my mk3 ctavia, and want to put some concave alloys on it. Currently looking on Cades Apollo, but Im not sure wether a 9,5j ET45 would fit at the back. Would love some help 😁

So I just tested it again, in semi-rainy wether. And this time it worked. It wiped randomly when rain started appearing on screen. But im 100 procent sure I tried the same thing yesterday. No matter what, it would stay on interval. It wiped with interval with a totally dry windscreen. I don't know - Maybe a little buggy? :S Also, thanks a lot for the answers guys. What is TSR and HBA? Still got issues with the rain sensor though. Any idears?

Will try this. As I recall, leaving it on interval just makes it do interval, wether or not its raining. But seems like it has something. Would guess the right part is the rain sensor but what the heck is the left part?

Alright guys, I took a shot and bought it. It surprises me a lot. I seems faster and more snappy than my old Mondeo mk4 2,2 TDCi which was remapped to 225hp. Also the Canton soundsystem is dope. It looks like it has rain sensor, and the description said it had so, but I doesnt seem to work? Is there some where I can hit the VIN number up, and see what the car is Bork with? Like you once could with ford etis. Also, where is the best UK place to order cool skoda parts from? I need a front splitter at some point. Best Regards

Hey guys. So Ive been a Ford guy for quite some time, but I want to try some new. Im about to pick up a 2014 octavia estate, with dsg7 transmission. My first auto gearbox too. But now im reading about people having a lot of issues with these gearboxes. Should I be worried? Its a dry plate, and the car have gone 170.000km. Best Regards
