  1. Hi, Breezy Pete, just what I was looking for, I do not have heated nozzles , so my part number will be 1Z0955985 Thanks for your and Varooom's help
  2. Hi Varoom, really appreciate your post, but it is the Windscreen washer jets that I need to replace not the headlight washers.
  3. Hi, I hope someone can help me. I need to replace the front washer jets on my 2018 Octavia. Has anyone done this job, and what is the correct Skoda part number. I want to use OEM parts. Thanks in advance for your help
  4. Recently had a similar issue, with a noise coming from the front brakes. Had a quick check, and found the front discs slightly worn, but showing some rust, due to covid the car has not been used much. So, full front brake overall, new pads, new discs, hub cleaned to a mirror finish, guide pins cleaned and lubricated, and... no improvement. Fed up with it now, so put it ino the local garage. Turns out it was a sticking rear caliper! I was convinced the noise was coming from the front, so I would check the other rear wheel for peace of mind.
  5. Hi, thanks for your post. I Had thought about the 2 litre ecoblue focus diesel. Did some research, the same engine is fitted to the Transit, and Ford is having a host of problems with it, especially failing injectors at fairly low mileage. Also issues with the camshaft belt which is half the thickness of a normal belt, and runs in an oil bath..Also the camshaft is not machined from solid, the cam lobes are pressed on and half been known to twist. So far so good with the Octavia.
  6. Hi Varaderoguy, thanks for this confirmation. I will use the Erwin wesite today. Cheers!
  7. Hi folks, I hope someone can help me. I have recently bought a 2018 Skoda Octavia. It needs new brake pads, but there are different types used on this car. On my previous car there was a label underneath the boot, but this seems to have gone. Has anyone recently had success getting this information through Er Win. I looked at their site but before committing to paying a fee to them I wanted to make sure that this information is available on their site, thanks in advance!
  8. I have always been a ford owner, through and through over 40 years. Three fiestas and four Mondeos. But ford just seem to have lost the way, so I needed another make, and Skoda seemed to tick all the boxes, just good solid engineering, although I still reserve judgement on the DSG gearbox? Hoping I can help members of the forum, and get help myself when needed.
