  1. Mine's the same. Is it an mot failure?
  2. That's interesting and thanks for replying. I've not had the chance to get under again to look. I know that the other car didn't have one. So it must affect performance if it's restricting flow. Cheers
  3. Hi. I've recently bought a 65 plate 2.0tdi instead of a 2010 vrs tdi. Looking underneath there's a 'thing' in the exhaust towards the front under a heat shield that wasn't there on the old car. It looks like some sort of valve like is on my BMW RT bike. What is it? Thanks
  4. Interested. R600 as Yami R600?
  5. It Is possible that it's the tyre tread. I had this with previous models of Octavia
  6. My diesel 09 vrs Octavia is just about to clock up 300,000 miles. I've put these miles on from almost new. It was totally wragged in its early life as it was my company car. I then bought it and getting older I have been treating it with respect... Mostly. Oil and filter changed every 40k. There was a broken wire on a solenoid a couple of year ago preventing forward. Reverse was fine. This clunk has started on mine the last 1000 miles or so. Only when the car has been stood overnight. Once we're driving it's fine even at traffic lights. I have always used neutral when stopped to prevent clutch overheating. Just my 3 pence worth Phil
