Save yourself the hassle and just use Google Maps or Waze through AA or Apple car play. Even updated maps issued arent accurate plus the routes provided by the Skoda sat nav are no where near as good. So glad I didn't bother with paying for updates after the first free year.

I saw that video about a hidden button but it does not work for my 2022 model

I have a 2022 Kamiq SEL and have just discovered after a struggle trying to load a long flat pack item in IKEA that it cannot be removed! Absolutely ridiculous. Ended up phoning the dealership out of desperation and they said the same. The button on the side is only for moving it up and down however you can remove the rear seat headrests. After a struggle I was able to wedge the 1.8m flat pack diagonally from the boot and my passenger squashed in one rear seat.

That was Kwik Fit but National Tyres was the same as well as other tyre pressure sites I have found. Because the Skoda dealer lowered them from the 37psi I had them on at the service down to 30. Why would all on line checkers be wrong

Just about to visit family for Christmas involving a 2 hour motorway trip so thought I would check the tyre pressures. Why on earth does it say a completely different pressure on the fuel flap than that found on line. I always throughout it seemed far too high especially on the fully loaded option. I will keep it at the 31 I found it was on after the service last week but concerned that I have previously set it far too high and the fuel flap figures are wrong.

I ordered my 110 SEL with lots of options on 15 August and took delivery on 22 December. I must have been lucky.

No my new SEL picked up just before Christmas still has the auto mirror dimming. Very strange blind spot went from standard to option to now being dropped as an option completely.

I want to swap my private plate onto my new Kamiq and and the rear plates are fixed with what appear to be slotted plastic bolts. Due to the spacing on my private plate I need black fixings. Are there threaded fixings behind the plates in the bodywork or do I have to remove the interior tailgate trim to undo nuts that the plates are bolted into ? I'm going to have to hunt around for the same threaded fixings or go all the way back to the dealer for black bolts. I have not come across these fixings before all my other vehicles I have swapped my plates to have just used screws with a coloured swappable cap as the front plates have been fixed with on my new Kamiq so why a different fixing method on the back ?

Choose a number plate 😲 last 4 new cars I have bought since 2014 (Ford, Toyota, Kia and Skoda) I've never had a choice, you get what comes out of the computer. Long gone are the days of picking from a printed list. Last time I did that was 2005 for a Suzuki Swift.

I picked up my new Kamiq two days ago and remember during the very quick new car handover the Salesman saying Skoda no longer supply Service books to be stamped. In the slim canvas folder in the glovebox all I have is a 155 page Owners Manual version 06.2021 (the front of which hasn't been completed) with some QR codes on the back to a more detailed online manual (which isn't PDF downloadable) a Roadside Assistance Handbook and Roadside Assistance Quick Reference Guide and a green sticker. Where are the details of the Warranty and what is included and excluded. Am I missing some documents or is it all recorded on Skoda Dealers systems ?

I had to Google Canton as people refer to it all the time. What a strange name for a sound system. I think of a Chinese restaurant when it's mentioned 🤣

I ordered a Kamiq on 15 August with lots of options, I am picking it up from the Dealer on Wednesday. How come its so long for an Octavia ?

Low seat? Cant you raise it up a bit with the height adjustment or are you small yourself ?

It seems it was standard on the SEL at some point then it became an option and in the last couple of months it's been removed and all mention of it erased from on line brochures and price lists. Assume due to the semi conductor shortage.

I've just checked the latest brochure on the skoda website and Blindspot detection isn't even on the the options list anymore so it's been deleted ! I don't think the dealer can be aware of this so obviously they can't reorder it and haven't realised.

This is an SEL it's not standard on the SEL in UK so assume you aren't in UK ?

Yes I ordered it but I think the dealer mucked up the order as it was added on two days after the original order went in on 15 August after I decided I would like it. I have an order form that shows it was ordered. No point dwelling on why it's not on there now or kicking off its not going to change the situation. Just wanted some owner views on if they think it's is something they would really miss if they did not have it.

Haven't got it in my current car a Kia Picanto but it was standard in the previous car to that a Toyota C-HR which was shockingly bad visibility wise over the shoulder due to the rear pillars and small rear windows unlike the Kamiq. I got rid of the CHR after I was rear ended whilst stopped. No safety feature stops someone going in the back of you 😆

Title says it all ordered mid August with a few options but it has arrived today at dealer without Blind Spot Detection. Should I reject and reorder and wait another 4 months which Dealer says I can or take it it without and get some money back ? Could those who have it advise it they wouldn't be without it ? I feel like I am tempting fate as I think it should be an essential standard build safety feature anyway but that's another discussion. Advice please as I need to let Dealer know in the morning.

Just had a call from Dealer to advise my Kamiq has arrived with them today and I could pick it up on Saturday but its been built without one of the options- Blind Spot detection. Annoying to say the least. Any advice? Take it and obviously I will get £560 back or reorder and wait at least another 4 months ? I just worry that I'm cursed now and and without it I will have have accident that Blind Spot may have prevented me from having 😞

I'm about to take delivery of my new Kamiq in the next 3 weeks and wondered what most of you have done ? Mudflaps yes or no ? I've always had them fitted on my new cars but just wondered what those without them fitted feel. Do they reduce the amount of muck thrown up on the side of the car or an unnecessary accessory/ expense ?

When did you order and what options ? Mine was 16/8/21. 1.0 TSI 110 SEL Manual , Front Sensors, rear view camera, adaptive cruise, heated steering wheel, heated front seats, USB-C by rear view mirror and Blind Spot detection. Negotiated over £2000 discount and got the £2500 finance deposit allowance.

Well my Kamiq is now in Sheerness and hit and miss if I will get it before or after Christmas and New Year. Depends if We buy Any Car or Cazzoo are closed for a week as I'm selling my trade in to them for a lot more than my trade in price given at time of order in mid August.

I have had a call today to say my Kamiq has arrived today at Sheerness and that I should be able to have it by the end of the month. Should be getting more info from the dealer next Saturday. Strange but they have already emailed me the Registration number.

I ordered a Kamiq SEL with lots of options in mid August. Just had an email today from dealership to advise "it is currently at the port of exit in Germany and has been released for shipping. From this stage it is usually around 3 weeks, but of course Christmas may affect this I will continue to keep an eye on the progress for you, I am out of the dealership for a few days and will be able to contact you again on Saturday, 18th December, where I will be in contact with an update on the progress at that time." Well 3 weeks is 29 December so I probably won't get to pick it up until after New Year.
