Hello everyone, I’ve finally had enough of my radio Bluetooth receiver! Does anyone have any ideas/ made the switch themselves. I’m looking for a new stereo to replace my Bolero. something with Bluetooth and CarPlay in it that looks somewhat oem. Thanks, I’ve had a look around but there seems to be a lot out there.

Hello, just replaced my boot lights as I thought they were the issue but no joy they still don’t turn on. I’ve checked all the flows. Lights good power to lights good and the fuse. im now thinking it’s the boot switch. I’ve just noticed that when I open the boot it doesn’t appear on the dash either. I bought the car used and it’s my first VAG group car so I wasn’t used to seeing anything pop up on the dash for open boots. I only noticed the lights weren’t working the other day when putting something in the boot at night. I’ve read up about a few cases of moisture and my boot did smell a bit fousty during the summer (I haven’t had any water in there I think it’s the previous owner). Just trying to give as much info as possible sorry for rambling. Essentially what should I do now? Do I replace the boot latch? Any ideas? Thanks for reading.

Nice one thanks! How did you code it in? I called up a few people and they didn’t want to do it for me as apparently they don’t have the VAG group ODIS software that is necessary apparently? Also how much experience in this sort of stuff do you have? And where did you get the info for this, do you have a diagram or something that you followed? Thanks again

Amazing thanks! How did you code it in? Or did you get someone to do it? have you got a link/ pic to the microphone you used? Also where did you place the Bluetooth module? I heard something about it going underneath one of the front seats? Thanks again!

Hi looking for help or tips on getting Bluetooth into my mk2 facelift. It came with a bolero unit which had an “enable Bluetooth” feature within the settings menu but it doesn’t do anything. I’ve seen forums mention it might not have a Bluetooth module? At the moment when I press the phone button on the stereo it just mutes stereo. Does anyone know what Bluetooth unit I need to buy or should I buy a new unit entirely. Something from a newer model perhaps? Something with Bluetooth already pre installed within the unit? Even if it’s a vw unit I don’t mind! Thanks! I’ve attached an image of what the unit looks like.
