Hi thanks for reply. It seems everyone seems to have the same type of DSG thermostat except for me. Mine is coming up as this on Eurocar parts 209440170 can you check for me if this is right part?

Hello everyone. I am having a problem with engine temperature, it's in the middle 90°c when stationary and 50 when driving. I've seen on all the discussion it's the coolant temperature sensor and/or dsg thermostat which need changing. I'm wondering are these both the same thing or do I need two different sensors. Can someone tell me the part number(s) I need or pictures of the items I need. Garages haven't got a clue so I'll be doing this myself, 4 garages saying no such thing as dsg temperature sensor, they get all defensive saying they're specialists or start telling me their credentials. I'm not interested in that all I'm interested in is fixing my car Please help!!!
