I had a tyre failure recently on my superb. The TPM warning came on as expected. I changed to the spare wheel and reset the TPM After driving for a few miles a warning came on the dash - "Error: Tyre Pressure Monitoring" . Checked the tyre pressures - they were fine. So a i assumed it might be related to using the spare I changed back to having all 4 standard wheels after getting the tyre replaced, checked the pressures and reset the TPM I then drove it today for fewer than 5 miles and the warning "Error: Tyre Pressure Monitoring" has come on again. The centre console vehicle status graphic shows all wheels highlighted in yellow. Has anyone else seen this error?? Anyone knows what it means?? I've done another pressure check and TPM reset...

That sounds plausible - the voltage is dipping excessively on engine start. The battery is probably as old as the car - July 2018

Hello, I like many people aren't using my car very much and it often is unused for up to a week as a time. When i start it after this period i get a message on the dashboard "manoeuvre braking not available" Restarting say 1 hour later i don't get the message Anyone else seen this??

Hi, I have a superb with KESSY and the key fob has this little detachable key blade for emergency entry into the vehicle. The design is in my opinion stupid - it is not attached and is spring loaded with a latch which is very easy to knock. I have 'pinged' it onto the floor several times! Anyway, now there has been one ping too many and I have lost one. Other than going to the dealership is there a way of obtaining a replacement?

Mine looks like this. I wonder whether the white residue is from screen wash or is from the hard water in my area.

I didn't realise that the jet had been changed from the 'fan' spray models. When was the change made? I guess my car was built sometime april/may 2018

Thanks Kenny, I'd seen that little hole next to the jet. I will give it a twiddle to see if it makes them better. I assume it just makes the jet go higher or lower on the screen?

Apparently if you have a lane assist camera then when the windscreen is replaced the camera has a to be recalibrated at a specialist centre. Is this true? Hard to believe they do this on the car production line.

Hello, Has anyone used one of the little dongles to enable high beam assist (or any other function)? My 2018 Superb has lane assist.

I am now on my 4th Skoda - A 2018 Superb Estate - And on this car unlike the other 3 the screen washer jets are mis-aligned. Previous cars used to give a lovely foamy spray when I washed the window. All I get now is a rather pathetic squirt aimed at the bottom of the window. I can't see how to adjust them. Is it possible?

I don't know why the fuel heater isn't sold in the UK. Why would a car company miss an opportunity to sell more stuff? The only thing i can think of is that it only fits the left hand drive variants for some reason... The UK one is an electrical type that needs the engine running to power it.

Ouch :( Already made an insurance claim a few months ago, so don;t really want to another one. Trouble is, it is not something cosmetic I can avoid fixing for a few monthsuntil my pockets are a little less empty. :/ Who are TPS?? There is quite a good non-skoda garage near where I work. I am wondering if they will be able to cope with the work though. It's ironic - I have had an intermittent fault flag up on the dashboard saying there is an AFS fault on the LH unit. I assumed it was a loose connection. Definitely faulty now :/

Just coming back from a trip to the local tip and I hit a branch sticking out into the road a bit. Must have fallen off in the strong winds LH head light lens plastic took the brunt. internal lighting all un-damaged and no damage to the rest of the car :/ First question: Can the lens be replaced as a separate part or has the whole lighting unit got to be repaired? If the former, how easy is it to do? thanks, Richard.

My MkIII doesnt have it :( Though my MkII did have something similar. Basically you can either insert a data SIM in the car and get a 3G/4G based mobile WiFi hotspot. The car can then use it for its own information system and it also allows devices in the car to get internet connectivity such as tablets. If your phone supports RSAP bluetooth profile then the car can alternately impersonate your phone by connecting to the phone SIM over bluetooth.

Really? I will take a look. What is the enhancement from doing this?

My 18 plate superb started with a weird fault this morning. When the ignition is on the internal microphone in the head lining is always on and what it picks up is played softly through the speakers. It is like having a soft echo in the car. I have tried completely disconnecting my mobile phone to see if it related to that, but the problem remains. Has anyone else experienced this? Richard.

Have you got the version with the SIM card slot in the glove box? If present, it is between the SD card slots. regards, Richard.

It used to be possible to purchase the 4/5 year extended warranty at anytime before the manufacturer 60k/3yr one expired. Then they stopped that and now has to be at time of ordering a new car. My last Superb. a MkII 2015, I bought the other which is essentially an insurance policy with an excess. No where as good as a the manufacturer one. Also I let it lapse and when I tried to renew the premium had jumped nearly 3 fold to £900!

I had a 2 litre V90 for week with the 8 speed slushmatic - I couldn't agree more - endless annoying gear changes!
