  2. Yeah that news wasn't encouraging. But it did say they had tons of cars built just awaiting chips, so there's always the small hope that the car could be 90% finished just not getting a build week until the chips are in
  3. Yeah you are probably right. Just a bit paranoid as it's a 3rd party company who arranged the lease so no direct contact with dealer. Must have got a hell of a lot worse though, but that's the nature of a chip shortage.
  4. 29/30 weeks! bloody hell! starting to wonder if I was given a false date now as that would imply a more than doubling of time in 3 months.
  5. Same here, ordered a lease one in mid July, 1.0 110 SE L with basic paint and no options, contract said 14 weeks estimated, its been nearly 12 and every update is just awaiting build week. Very frustrating.
