Well I hope this will be some isolated case, because after all it is company order and it was a bigger one…so I doubt they would cancel regular customers I think it’s some kind of adjusting. But mostly I think they took it too far with new models. In just short of time they pushed out 3 new models, actually quite popular ones…Fabia, Karoq and now Enyaq cupe…and I just read yesterday how proudly they bragged about enyaq cupe production, yesterday it started and they will produce around 300 vehicles a day. So what’s left for others…and that’s the factory with most of their models. Only superb, kodiaq and karoq are made in Kvasiny factory 🤷🏻‍♂️ And when you put all the shortage of everything I guess and pushing new popular models out…there you have caos.

No, july was my order for Kamiq…company ordered octavias in October 2021. At first we had no info about the delivery, later we got info that it would be expected somewhere in January 2023, month or two later it was lifted for February 23 and now cancelled. Not sure yet to be honest…there are some meetings going on on this topic, as soon as I get some new information I’ll let you know…we are all confused and just wtf faces all around…I mean what to think?

Soooo…got some updates and hope I’m not going to make more panic by writing this…but 3 Octavias iV + one Kamiq that my company ordered are officially cancelled by factory. We just got informed today from the dealer with simple explanation “unable to deliver” ??? Mainly it was all about chip and parts shortage and there was also fire mentioned…and about kamiq…1.6 diesel engine is not available anymore (it was at the time of ordering) and if we want to change it into 1.5 petrol we have to make new order with higher price. Btw…for my fellow slovenians…has anyone noticed the range of engines on official Skoda Slovenija site? Two 1.5 petrol engines one manual and one DSG and two diesel 2.0 engines as well one manual and one DSG…that’s all what is left. There’s some serious 💩 going on.

Well as I once said my company ordered 3 octavias iV and first delivery date was december 2022, the second was january 2023 and now we are already at february 2023. We ordered them in october 2021 😆 and also kodiaq july 2022, karoq and kamiq unknown 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s **** everywhere…I am aware of it…but still it pis**s me off because I know they don’t care…if I don’t buy someone else will…and for higher price 🤷🏻‍♂️ anyhow if I step out of this I’m not ordering anything for a year for sure…

Well…I did that…and again nothing…waiting for my order from july 10th…no production date, no information from the dealers side, so I contacted directly importer…and politely I was told that’s the dealers job to do and not mine…so f**k off…Anyway here is the reply from them…fellows Slovenians will understand… So shortly before that…I contacted again the dealer…and was told the same story as always…and I got the answer “maybe delivered in week 17” which now I doubt for sure, so I decided I’ll wait till then but after that date I’m stepping out. 🤷🏻‍♂️ It’s not worth and it’s not normal, especially pushing out new models when you can’t provide even the existing ones…so with my luck probably I would receive ordered car somewhere in the second half of the year…and in following few months I’ll be served with news about some sort of facelift of the model and stuff… meh…

I know…I’m starting to think that orders from July got lost somewhere 🤷🏻‍♂️And same here…my dealer said it could be delivered in week 17…but he added “maybe” at the end so go figure that. I already told him I’ll wait till then if not I’m stepping out. It’s totally unbelievable to have orders waiting from last year and not even any information about the production. As he said even they don’t know how is production running…there’s no rule.

Well great news…happy for you…I ordered kamiq SEL 1.5 DSG on 10th July and still no build date 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s f***ed up situation in general…after all this time waiting, I won’t have the feeling of buying a new car anyway…and I also talked with a friend couple hours ago about his vehicle. He ordered VW Tiguan March 2021 and just got a call today from the dealer about new delivery date…March 2022…and still not 100% so dealer told him if he wants he can walk away from the contract with the refund of prepaid 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well I also contacted my dealer via mail after our very short phone call…and expressed my concern about the delivery date that he gave me with no warranty it will be fulfilled…it was said week 14 maybe? So he wrote me back with all the apologies and other stuff the explanation, that every order with lot of options added (amundsen, digital display, back camera, electric boot…etc) is held back because they can’t complete it and that’s why other vehicles with lower options come faster even if they ordered later… So that’s it…sit and wait 🤷🏻‍♂️

So…what did you do…what did you say to the dealer…tell us the secret 😆

To be honest, I don’t know anything they are saying…and mostly they don’t say anything specific…so whatever it means I guess I’ll know by the time…And yes, it’s the info from the dealer…

First of all I’m happy for you and you are again the proof that there’s no rule who gets car by the date of order. I ordered my kamiq on July 10th (also Slovenia - porsche Verovškova) and I called them yesterday hopefully to get any information about the car. However the info is still the same, no build date, nothing…and the next big delivery is announced on week 17. so maybe it will be ready by the date….just maybe…that’s what I got for the info. Kinda started to think about cancelling the order…I mean all the anticipation is gone on my side…I’ll wait for a while I guess, but not for long, just came to the point that I don’t give a **** anymore 🤷🏻‍♂️
