Hi all. I know I've jumped on this topic a little late but hopefully someone is out there who can answer.I have a 2016 L&K Superb and am really happy with it.Anyway this past Xmas I got an aftermarket head unit from.... Duh duh duh China.Long story short got the car booked in and was told later that day it wasn't compatible with the car due to the wiring.They said it was to do with the Canton system using optical cables that alas were not supplied with the unit.How disappointed was I.In the meantime the installation company were awaiting to hear from a supplier based in NL for an interface.I heard from them today and told me there is an interface that will do the job but it will cost over £900 for part and install😬.I've actually sent the unit back now as it was over £500 and with the install of the interface it's getting on for £1400.I'm now thinking of changing the MiB glove box and old button screen for the more aesthetically pleasing to the eye touchscreen.If anyone has done this or knows if they are compatible with Canton/L&K before I possibly phone Skoda or look into E Bay for a price or whether to cut my losses and stick with what I have. Again I saw this thread and thought to tag onto it in the hope of some guidance/knowledge as I'm not good at this kind of stuff at all Hope to hear guys.

No not this one as I live right down South that would be quite a journey.Finally got my superb weekend just gone 2016 L&K 280 in white and so far I love it.Will mainly be used at weekends and it's kitted right out.

Hi guys. Ok just to give you a heads up on what's happened.Looked at a superb over the weekend and what a total waste of time.The advert was very misleading regarding description and I was very annoyed which the salesman did pick up on after a 6 hour round trip for a 10 min visit.In the meantime I'm continuing my search and have found another 2.One is an L&K 280 on a 16 plate so I'm hoping to arrange a viewing.It has the older Columbus infotainment system and does anyone know if this can be upgraded to the more modern touch screen?Maybe I need to start a new thread relating to this😂

Hi guy's. I'm new on here and am after thoughts/ advise on what I'm going to be doing. Hopefully over the next week or 2 I should be picking up a Skoda superb estate 2.0 TSI sel executive.One thing I would like to do is upgrade the wheels to the 19" Vega's,purely for the look. Firstly will they fit without to many probs? And can I put 235/45/19 tyres on instead of the 235/40/19 that the sportline normally has? Quite a short simple topic that hopefully will receive some great input.I did drive a sportline estate a year ago and does anyone know if it has stiffer springs than the sel executive and will upgrading alloys cause any major issues?All comments welcome and Thanks guy's.
