Hey all bit of a random question but just waiting on my MK4 coming in and was wondering if anyone knows how big / max diameter of bottle can fit in the driver's door pocket / bin? Thanks.

No sorry the item being removed is standard on the VRS estate. It is an option on other cars with the led rear lights for £800+. Skoda are removing it from my ordered vrs due to supply issues and are not discouting the price. Basically its loosing spec with no compensation. The attitude seems to be well take it or cancel it.

Mines a hybrid and a company car so am limitted at the moment with regards to cars vs spec for tax reasons. I looked at the bmw 330e but the price diffrence is alnost double. Its nuts.

Hi guys, Following on from the canton soundsystem not being available atm due to the semiconductor shortage. I have just had an email regarding my VRS estate ordered in August. Apparently the virtual pedal is not available and is being taken off the build. This is listed as a £825 option alongside the rear led lights (led rear lights are also aprt of the £1600 led upgrade) Both are standard on the VRS but skoda is not discounting the car for the removed option. Getting really sick of this and am seriously considering cancelling my order all together. Has anyone else experienced this? Cheers Craig

As far as i know the canton system all works via Can Bus. So no RCA outputs.

When did you order yours Timster? Am gutted tbh as i spend a load of time in the car. Drove for 8 hours today. Hopfully i can find a solution to add a sub.

If you mean all engine configs then yes as mine is a Vrs IV hybrid. They have just recently released for the hybrid vrs. However on the skoda site it does now say unless you ordered the tow prep from the factory your chassis plate may not have tow weights on it. So if you dont have the weights on your plate it is technically illegal to fit a towbar. All a bit of a swizz and not sure if its a empty threat as they say MAY not. It will also cause 2nd/3rd had owners issues if they want to fit a towbar but the original owner did not and its missing the plate.

EPC are a rip off. Price of batterys increased for winter. Price of aircon parts increased for summer. Always been the same. Try Tanya batteries. Amazing service and price i have always found to be spot on.

I have just ordered the factor towbar and it was cofirmed to be a swivel the same as my golfs. You dont see any change to the bumper unless you are under it. That is my understanding for the mk4 vrs as well.

Ordered my 3rd VRS in August this year. Had a mk2 without audi upgrade ( was a really early one so they didnt even offer it at the time. Still had the round steering wheel!) Had a mk3 with the canton Have a golf mk7. 5 with Dynaudio just now. Just had a email today saying my order with the canton upgrade on my mk4 cannot be added! Phoned my local dealer in UK and they confirmed (car originally ordered via Lex as its a company car). They are blaming the semi conductor shortage and lex confirmed other manufacturers are striping options off as well. Really disappointed tbh. But unless you cancel your order and wait till the components are avalible again there is nothing the manufacturer will do.
