You are probably right, but I don't have the time and energy to manage this. It's a joke that they don't care about any software errors. For me the solution is no more skoda for company cars. Maybe I'll try to contact a distributor in the future. Thanks for the tips.

Yes I went through these options as well and thanks for the tips but at the end this is a pure "We don't care about it" situation. You can bring any evidence they don't want to deal with it and that's it. I couldn't believe in the first place when they told me that I will have to prove it. Man, go outside sit in the car config the sound then get out lock it and get back. This car costs a fortune in Hungary and they don't give a s*** about that the software is a piece of ***. I'm tired going to the dealers every month explaining the problem and they not doing anything. I had some hope in 1896 update but as mentioned above it didn't bring any solution to this so it looks like I'll have to cope with it.

Yes I can recreate but you have to hear that becuse all the options are correct on the screen but the sound is flat. You can't record this on a video because on the vid you can't hear any difference.

No luck. They are stating that I would need new hardware for that....

Hi! Yes mine is doing it from the first day I got it. It has the 1889 software, dealer doesn't want to try an upgrade because I can't prove that it is resetting with a video. You can hear it clearly that it is resetting to a flat eq, also it is resetting the sound focus too. (I'm using it to focus only to the front seats and eq set to rock and from rock to individual, that's get you the most bass out of that subwoofer.) So I have to reset every time I jump into the car. Very annoying. If you have any solution please post it here. Thanks!

Yes it is not working unfortunatley. The thing is that on the screen it shows my last saved EQ and other sound preferences but you can hear that it is completely flat EQ. So you have to adjust everything once again.

Yep. The same thing happens to me. Every time I climb into the car I have to set the the EQ and the sound focus. 1889 firmware on the car...

Hello! Thank you for the help but in our cars there is no wi-fi. You can not switch it on and can not see from the phone's wifi menu. Probably skoda didn't put in wi-fi modules in our car because of the chip shortage... That's my theory.

I picked up my car today from the dealer. It's been 11 months now since ordering. Car: octavia ambition 2.0 tdi dsg options: led matrix, canton, ergo seats and some minor things. Ordered in 2021 March.

115 hp. Currently driving a 1.6 diesel mk3 octavia and I think it is enough for doing 140km/h on highway, so instead of more power I went for better headlights and hopefully better music quality. True... 😄

Ah sorry. I'm living in the past decade where every vw or skoda were 1.9 tdi. Yes it is a 2.0 tdi.

So after 10 months it looks like I will get the car on the 7th of February. The car arrived to the dealer on 26th of January. Ordered first week of march 2021. 1.9 diesel dsg ambition sedan + canton, led matrix.

Still waiting on the car. Ordered 3rd of March. Ambition model with some options: canton, Led matrix headlights. Absolutely no info from the car. Looks like the eastern european market gets the massive delays.

Just got a mail from the leasing company. Ordered my company car in first week of March 2021. First I've got an update that car is built and waiting for parts, this was in september (first official delivery time was August 31st). Now we got an update that my car will be built only in January 2022. So I assume that they know nothing about the car... Anyway currently I am driving a 2018 Octavia with pretty good options so waiting is not a problem for me, but the lack of information is fustrating.

Hello guys! Yes, this option is removed from the configurator in my country too (Hungary). btw My company ordered mine in early March and was promised to arrive in august. After that it was delayed to September and after that it was delayed with no information. Lease company said that it might arrive in november or maybe only next year.. Mine is an ambition with tdi dsg with matrix led, canton, interior les etc... I really hope that they do install canton in the car!
