Looking at images of most of the cars I have owned plus my wife's cars possibly only my last car (KIA...7 years) had mud flaps. Did buy flaps for my new Kamiq (2 weeks) and will fit them shortly. I don't remember rust or damage to any car...tend to keep them for a few years....caused by spray/stones etc. My cars go back 60+ years! The choice is yours....but they certainly won't do any harm!

Thank you both. Had a careful look and can see the one in the A pillar....so will avoid that. I've watched a couple of YT videos so it should be plain sailing.

About to install a dashcam in a new Kamiq SE-L. The vehicle specification suggests....'Side airbag in front with curtain airbag' Does this mean in the Windscreen/Door pillar....Above the windscreen....Above the door? Please PS. UK passenger side.🙂

Bought the kit and did more research then never used it! Went to a piggy back fuse instead! Now building the courage to install the fuse option in my new Kamiq.
