Well, this ordeal is coming to an end... it seems my car has arrived in the UK. Waiting for the V5 & HMRC export clearance. Ordered in in November 2021.

Well, it seems things are finally moving. I have a build week of 17 (mid-May?) with expected UK delivery in July. The reality remains to be seen...

Ordered the same in Nov 21...still no status.

I ordered an Octavia Estate SE L 1.5 TSI e-TEC 150 PS DSG back in Nov '21. Despite numerous enquiries, I have never received a build date or any other info. Today, I fired off another request for an update and received this Skoda reply from the dealer. ''Our supply team are aware of all the vehicles in the system that are showing in error (Error in Structure), they will be working over the next couple of weeks to clear them. Until then, SLI will not populate with a build week and unfortunately, we cannot predict which build week will be allocated in SLI until cleared. Please be aware we cannot chase any individual vehicles for scheduling or removing from error.'' So, status code is still 00 after 15 months. I can't recall having ever experienced such lousy, arrogant customer service from a manufacturer. Time to cancel this order. SLI.pdfSLI.pdf

I'm going to throw my toys from the pram... So, my estimated delivery date of 1 May has come and gone. I ordered in early November '21 and have other more than an order number. My dealer knows nothing. All communication with Skoda UK is politely deflected and now my last e-mail to Skoda has been pushed back to the dealer! The lack of communication and customer care is stunning. Then I read on here that some of you are getting weekly updates...I'll take some that action! When/how does that occur?

Has anyone ordered an Octavia recently? I placed my order in November 2021 and, to date, I have nothing more than an order number and an estimated delivery date of 01.May 2022. Seems to me I should at least have had something more from Skoda. My dealer has no idea and a chat with Skoda online basically pointed me back to the dealer. Of course, I know the production rate is much slower than normal for all sorts of reasons, but I'm just trying to get a rough idea of how long it has taken others to get production and/or delivery dates. (Attached to the Forces and returning at the end of the year/early next year - need to keep the car outside the UK for 6 months) Thanks everyone. Dave

It went offline shortly after I wrote to them about a problem with their Octavia Build-Your-Own function. Essentially, the site would not display the correct OTR price for an Octavia build but worked with all other Skoda models. In their reply to me they stated they tested the functionality with multiple browsers and didn't find any problem. I switched from Safari to Firefox and went back in to see if Safari was the problem...and the Octavia was gone. I once again contacted Skoda Customer Relations and received this reply on November 10: Thank you for your follow up email to ŠKODA UK. Yes the OCTAVIA has been removed but will be re-added in next few days due to a system update. Thank you again for your and understanding on the matter.
