  1. 😕 I don't understand why you're telling me this? 😕 I understand the cambelt is on the driver's (RHD) side of the engine and the waterpump is on the gearbox side driven by its own dedicated belt. I only posted the article and video to try to be helpful to fellow owners. What have I done wrong?
  2. Here is a video from Dayco that looks like it shows the gearbox side of the EA211 engine from 4:16 onwards
  3. Hello I believe this article from Professional Motor Mechanic shows the cambelt and waterpump change procedure. https://pmmonline.co.uk/technical/how-to-install-a-timing-belt-kit-on-a-skoda-octavia/ It shows the 1.4 litre engine, but I think the 1.2 and 1.4 EA211 engines share the same layout and procedure. It also shows the waterpump housing bolt tightening sequence.
  4. Hello, I have a 2017 Fabia III with the 90hp 1.2 TSI engine. I thought that recently it feels a bit down on power and wanted to see if I could extract any figures with a Bluetooth OBD dongle and a scanner app. Using an Android app called "Car Scanner" and doing hard pulls in 2nd gear with the engine warmed up, I got a "Calculated Boost" figure peaking at just over 8 psi and a "Manifold Absolute Pressure" reading peaking at just under 23 psi. Can anyone tell me if these figures make sense please? Thanks.
  5. Hello, I have had my 2017 Fabia III for two years now and just wanted to check in with all my fellow Skoda drivers. Regards, Stuart.
