Tyre recommendations
Michelin Primacy 4 ST and Pirelli Powergy seem to be the most recommended tyre options amongst specialists out here. There’s a $35 saving per corner with the Pirellis …and they’re in stock, so I think we’ll go with them.

Tyre recommendations
Sorry. Done the advanced search but nothing satisfactory is coming up. We have a 2012 118tsi Elegance wagon, sorry estate, that is chewing through cheaper branded tyres now that we’ve moved out of the city. We do two weekly journeys of 2.5 hours at a steady 100kmh on freeways back to the city (sorry forgot to mention, we’re down under in Victoria), then four daily 30 min school runs on local roads also at 100kmh. So now it’s time to spend large and get the best possible tyres for our circumstance. What in your opinions are going to be the longest lasting and safest tyres for our needs bearing in mind the extremities of our weather. Half decent summers and plenty of rain, but definitely no snow. thanks all

Interior lights ON when Tailgate open
Hangs head in shame. I’ve never even noticed the rocker switch before on the overhead panel.

Interior lights ON when Tailgate open
I seem to have the reverse problem. I’m at the drive-in cinema. Boot is open with the kids on bean bags in the back looking at the big screen out the back but all my interior lights are on and staying on.

Snapped boot cubby handle
Hi, first post. I hope you can help. The plastic switchy part on the inside of the handle snapped on the near side boot cubby. Has anyone suffered this occurrence and got any info on how they went about fixing it? Looks like the black frame assembly could be replaced but doubt that’s available so I guess it’s an extortionate amount from the dealers for a whole door panel or down the breakers which given Skodas aren’t exactly common round these parts, might be sometime finding. As you can see, my search terms might be a bit off for finding anything online.

G’day as they say around these parts
Thanks first of all got accepting me to join the forum. Something I’d been meaning to do for some time given I bought my 2012 Superb wag.. estate in 2015. On the whole it’s been great but there’s been some shocking outlays and monumental cost savings, thanks in part to this forum.
