Hi, I don't know if this is the same thing but mine defaults to audio screen, there is a 'tab' on the far left of the screen which I need to slide across to the right, this then shows the video playing. Only way I can describe the 'tab' is like what you have on the home screen at the top of the screen, and you slide it down to view notifications and shortcuts etc.

I'm kind of in a way glad it's not just me having these software glitches. About 1 month into owning my car I had a few SOS faults which flashed up on the dash. It wasn't too bad as it would always reset if I left and came back to the car. Until one day it didn't clear and ended up losing pretty much all media and satnav functions and was stuck with a spinning loading wheel on the screen. Took it in to skoda for a software update and it has been better since but far from perfect. I still get the clicking sounds others have mentioned along with the SOS alarm, but I am able to reset this by pressing the SOS button and then cancelling the call before it goes through. The air con controls dissappear every now and then but this is usually cured by doing a hard reset on the display. Although it is F ing annoying when it happen. It also bugs me that I have to manually synconise the aircon setpoints for driver and passenger everytime. My last vrs was always synchronised unless you chose not to be. Great cars but wish they would have tested thoroughly before production instead of making their customers do the beta testing. I'm now nearly 9months in and want to get it in to sort this bloody SOS problem out. Anyone know if they are able to cure this yet?

Yep, there's a lot of black on black on black...Raceblue was my second choice. Gingernick70's is really popping in his pic and has almost got me doubting my decision 😂

Last octavia was rallye green, and although I loved the colour I got sick of being judged. Went for something a bit more stealth this time around and opted for black magic. Don't know why they stopped the rallye green though.
