  1. Yeah sorry I should've clarified I did mean MIB2 Standard (Amundsen). Thanks for the info. I suspected that modifying the location tables was not a simple thing to do, but thought I might ask anyway in case some tinkerer somehow found a way. You don't ask, you don't get, as I'm told. Guess I'll just stick to Google Maps/Waze for relatively up to date maps and leave the MIB2 system on V12 maps for the TMC then.
  2. Just out of curiosity, I know I asked this before but is there anyway to get this Inrix TMC fix to work with the newest Sat Nav maps? Is there anyone working on this or is it an impossibility? I mostly use Waze/Google Maps for navigation anyway but having a backup not reliant on phones and data connections would be useful.
  3. I was going to suggest the Halford's "Advanced" line as a budget alternative. I've used their HIR2 bulbs in a previous car and although they weren't Xenon bright, they did seem to have more light throw to them.
  4. I just used a long screwdriver to clip the damper back into place. Was easier for me. Also the side panel on the dash can be removed to make things easier.
  5. Many thanks for that. Ended up getting a AAWireless. Had some initial teething issues but it seems to be working now.
  6. I'm going to guess they mean the estimated range on the infotainment or multi-function display?
  7. Hello all. Just wondering if anyone has any particular recommendations for a Wireless Android Auto Dongle? Looking for something reliable that won't break the bank. Infotainment system I have is the MIB2.5 Amundsen. Many thanks in advance.
  8. Use a long screwdriver to help reinstall the damper. That's what I did.
  9. Had similar issues. It's probably the release button on the boot itself that is broken. Microswitch failure is common. Only way to fix it is to pay for a new boot release IIRC.
  10. What build codes do you need from me to confirm for sure? EDIT: Never mind, I think I found them. "L16 - Suspension range 16 installation control only, no requirement forecast" so I guess "5Q0411105HC "?
  11. Sorry me again. @CarlstonIt has been suggested I might need to get some fresh springs as well. Could you find the right part number for both front and rear springs? I'll get you further details if you need them.
  12. Thanks. I am assuming it is a case of undo the bolts and push the headlights forward. What size of torx driver do you need? Want to make sure I have all the possibly required tools before I even attempt this.
  13. Just for reference and the avoidance of doubt, which bolts/screws do you unfasten to be able to move the headlights forward for a bit more space to work on the indicators? I can only see one big torx bolt looking at the headlights and I am not sure what size it is or if there are any other fasteners.
  14. Viofo A129 Duo or some variation thereof. Does well for me.
