Given the jets a clear out and the washer water does move through without an issue. Just no movement in the arm.

Rear wiper seems to have packed in and wont move Ive seen some have had success by clearing the jets, no impact for me. Is there any other bits that could cause it yo not work other than a failed wiper motor? Could aftermarket LED bootlights somehow cause the problem (they have been installed for over a year so im suspecting not in this case?)

I have changed out the lightsbin the boot for LED but I did that about 6 months ago (and never had the problem) Currently there is no alarm... And now im just chosing not to open the boot 🤣 as 2 days ago it was 3 alarm beeps per second... Every second.. for my entire 45 minute journey.......

2016 pree facelift octy. Im getting the boot open warning go on on and off almost constantly when driving. On-of to the point where it shows the white car, but the alert is not long ebough for the boot 'red door' to pop up most of the time Checking the boot and it is indeed closed. Doesnt matter if i give it a good slam or anything. Has just started happening and is starting to drive me made with the constant alarm bong going off. Im assuming a problem with the latch somewhere.. any suggests on what i need to do and... Importantly... How exactly do i do that! 🤣

I found from others on here that this part cannot be ordered separately or found very easily as is. I bought a screen from a breaker on ebay and didn't notice it wasn't there. Luckily i was able to message them and it was still in the car! Maybe try this route? If not then i think you will have to find a broken version of the screen (or another in the same line i would have thought) and take the piece from that. You might even have luck messaging someone on ebay and asking to specifically buybthat piece of plastic for 30 quid or so, i dunno, but would be cheaper than the broken/dodge screen.

I think we have exactly the same issue (with the blank black square on the right having 2 little white square outlines with a red line though them in the bottom right) I can add logos but they dont stick or are very poor quality especially on the station view. Its frustrating i mean its basic image scaling, i dont know why the headunit can't do it properly.

Do you get logos for heart 80s and planet rock? I only get some stations but not all.

Gave that a go, the 500x500 looked the worst out of all the ones i did. Dont really understand why!

i mean ive tried the ones from the skoda portal too but those had some missing aswell.

took them straight from media.info and they were still a bit blocky especially compared to the likes of the radio 6 music one

How can i get radio logos that do not look like a pile of arse? (Ammundsen MIB2 My17 headunit with FL 8" screen) They currently appear quite blocky when using the presets view and incredibly blocky and pixellated when using the station info view. so far i have tried (all pngs): Standard that come with the car - some ok.. some not, lots missing Downloaded updates from skoda portal - load missing (including some which were there before?) and same issues as above downloading from media.info - still blocky and some logos don't show up in station info view 500x500px higher res logos as - blocky and massively downscaled 160x120px images - still really blocky especially in station view. Its a small thing that i'm finding really irritating (yea i know its only pictures) with the lovely FL screen that i have just installed. Some of the stock logos are super crisp (like 6 music and talk sport) but anything user added is all kinds of wrong. Is there a better way? is there a specific resolution and pixel density it needs for a nice display? is it a firmware issue (Hardware: H30 Software: 0359)?

Fabulous! What do i need to be careful of taking it on and off? I think i read one of your posts after i posted the thread about it being fragile, so just want to be as prepared as possible!

Now in a rather huge turn of luck, as the part was so new on i chanced it messaged the seller/breaker to see if they had the piece and lucky enough it was still in the car and it is being sent on! So next question i guess: does the trim piece go on after the screen is installed back into place?

Hi folks. I picked up a 5e0919605m 8" screen on ebay for a decent price, but didn't realise that the bottom piece of trim was missing from it. I'm feeling a bit silly now really. Is there any way of picking that small bit of trim up from anywhere?
