  3. tdi 110 mk1 octy does anyone know what max str this car should see is it like 50 as i am only seeing 40 ecu appears to be cutting down str ir it reaches 40 then cuts down to 30 odd we think that something is triggering ecu into doing this air intake temp we are seeing 30-40 seems way to high on a 5c day also it seems to be over boosting by about 300 -400 mb going up to around 16-18psi on boost guage tia
  4. update it was the thermostat opening to early so car is having some tlc at min as we have found other issues =will start other threads rather than mixing them up
  5. i think what a lot of people do not know is ecu takes this temp and gears all sorts to that temp inc mpg power all sorts and oil needs to be hot to function properly ,,my mate similar engine gets upto 90c in 3 miles
  6. well am going for the stat ive blocked off the entire rad with little effect ,, its the bottom hose which throws me being cold ,,
