  1. Hi im wondering if anyone can shed any light on my issue. I have a mk3 skoda octavia vrs .. and my vrs badge for the front grille has broken off however there is a plate fastened behind the vrs emblem which thathas also broke away from the grille. After looking everywhere i cannot find a grille with this little plate attached to it all the ones that are available dont have the vrs badge on it they are just plain black grilles. So could anyone explain is this meant to have the plate on or has some one stuck this plate to the car ? I also purchsed the replacement vrs badges off of ebay in the hope of being a quick fix however when it arrived, one the screws wernt long enough to.go through the grille ans two the screws were completely in the wrong place i would have had to drille the grille. All in all it hasnt gone well , any help is appreciated

  6. Hi can anyone help me new to the forum and to owning a skoda vrs Recently got skoda vrs 2013 diesel and there is a steange water sloshing noise coming from behind the dash when i start and turn off the vehicle last five mins on shut down then it stops but the noise now has started to appear as your driving along if you didnt havr the radio on you can hear water sloshing side to side like water in a bowl can anyone tell mr have u had thid or what it is. The garage i got the car from say there isbnothing wrong with the car and they havent heard the noise but i do everytime i drive the car. Seen on google other people mention this sloshing noise but same as me no one has any issues with their vehicle the car drives fine heater works and temp gauge works. I was originally hit with the silica bag exploding but this has been solved with 10hrs flushing system with skodas specialist kit for this. Heater matrix was flushed and so was the radiator and all pipes and all coolant replaced. But i am lost what is wrong mechanics dont know whats wrong is it just theyve cut corners on sound proofing or is there some underlining issue at work. Any help or any answers greatly appreciated
  7. Hi there i am not sure if this is the right forum or not but im looking for help or advice in regards to my skoda i have just recently got. Iv been hit with the dreaded exploding silica bag which has taken a garage 2 months to put right which i think its ok now though i am still hit with another issue that the gsrage says there is nothing wrong with the car. When i start the car up i can hear water sloshing noise behind my dash board and when i turn the car off i could hear it for five mins then it would stop is this the pump making the water noise ? But my concern is i can now also hear water sloshing when the car is running and i stop st traffic lights ect .. theres no leaks from header tank or any pipes related , header tank is new heater matrix and radiator have both been flushed for 10 hours so what is this strange water noise ? The car drives fine no issues no over heating temp gausge works never passes 90 no loss of power or any warning lights just a strange noise i can seem to find an answer for can any body help me or tell me if they have had this issue with skoda. I have always had vw 's and never encountered anything like this but this is the first car iv ever heard it on have they just cut corners on sound proving ? Thanks any help really appreciated
