Morning all, does anyone have (or could they take) a picture of the heated seat connector plugs (seat side) I bought some seats that i was assured would plug in but the connector appears to be wired differently. The seats are MK5 golf, and i have a Kufatec loom to install. Cant find any wiring information for the seats themselves so need to try and work it out from pictures if anyone can help!

Afternoon all, I'm on the lookout for leather seats (front and rear) for my Octavia. Mainly because the cloth ones are a bloody magnet for my dogs hair 🤦‍♂️ anyone swapped out theirs or know what would fit? Other models etc? Not after buckets/ sports seats in fact the flatter the better. Cheers!

We used to use the fireworks route clearing out 2stroke expansion chambers, they light up like scram jets! 😂

Thanks for the reply. The car is mine now so once it's done it should stay good. My daily commute is about 75 miles, mostly motorway so it will never get used for short town runs so that should keep it clean.

I have full workshop access so it's not being done in the garden. And I have been a motorcycle and motorsport mechanic for the last 25 years. If it didnt look bad enough to need cleaning I wouldnt be lol. Ally work life has been high performance petrol, so my first diesel ever. More asking of there is anything peculiar to watch put for ie bits that require special care/attention. The car is a one elderly lady owner from new with 140K. Full service history but I dont think it was ever revved past 2K in its life. Throttle body was only 1/4 of its diameter when i popped it off for checking lol

Morning all, got my new to me Octavia the other week. I pulled the throttle body and EGR to give them a preemptive check and clean, and they were clogged to buggery. All spotless and sorted now, but the inlet manifold is horrendous. So. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a manifold off job, anything I need to look out for/potential issues? It's a 2009 MKII 1.9 BXE Cheers!

Tha is for the quick reply. Is this something that's easily (and cheaply) available, or am I better off just changing out the stero for something else already thinking about an android mirroring for google maps etc.

Morning all, picked up my first Skoda yesterday. After bashing my head against a wall for the last 30 mins, is it actually possible to connect my phone to the Bolero stereo? Followed the instructions in the owners manual but no joy, the phone button mutes the stereo and nothing else? Thanks in advance!
