  1. I have Octavia Mark 4 with Swing infotainment The car connects to the phone 100% of the time for phone calls, but on the other hand Anroid Auto which I have to use to get a sat nav up (currently use Google maps) is proving most unreliable recently. Android Auto has been installed since I had the car a year ago. At first was almost 100% reliable Now regularly when I select APP on the menu the system searches for AA but returns a message "cant find device" or similar (cant remember exactly what and it wont replicate the problem right now of course. Also quite often when starting off from a break the AA if it does connect and show Google maps then says "searching for GPS" and is unable to locate whereas as soon as phone is away from car and AA the GPS works perfectly. I have regularly updated AA on my phone Has anyone had similar issues or am I the only one Any thoughts welcome Ian
  2. Thanks for that input. I may well do likewise but am still pending feedback from Skoda themselves!
  3. Thanks to all for your very helpful feedback
  4. Ok. Thanks very much for your help. I used to use black tape DIY to do the job on all my previous cars but guess I better get some proper stickers now there are no clues on the covers of the light units
  5. I will be travelling europe shortly. I checked the manual to try to ascertain what I need to do if anything to adapt the headlights to RH driving, and the manual says change the setting in CAR/ settings/Outside/Driving lights/Travel Mode in the infotainment. I have CAR/Settings/Exterior/Headlights on my infotainment system but no "Travel Mode" sub menu option after that ??? hence I cannot follow the manual. But maybe I just ahve to use deflector covers like on bulb headlights?
  6. Thanks for reply - but sorry - not if I have Matrix lights or some other new fangled lights??? Any advice appreciated ! *not sure
  7. You guys are lucky. I have an infotainment system that doesnt offer the "Travel Mode" under exterior lighting at all. So I am waiting for the dealer to advise next steps unless anyone out there has any ideas? 1.0TSi e-TEC SE
