  1. This was removed due to it being a fire risk. Skoda were supposed to issue a notification when resolved for retro fitting. I'm in the same boat on a 22 plate.
  2. collecting on Monday. Getting ceramic coat today 11.5 months wait but worth it
  3. My order from early October 2021 is now at the showroom getting ready for handover. it's confirmed as MY 23. Will pick up Saturday or Monday. Pics to follow. Hang in there everyone!
  4. Received a call today informing provisional build week 34. At least some hope is restored
  5. nice and well done for holding out on your original spec. I ordered 3 days before you and agreed a few months back to remove 360 camera. side assist and canton in order to speed up deliver....guess what ....no news but holding out as the price is locked in. can't wait to see all the dealers currently selling customer cancellation orders at inflated prices getting screwed when the recession deepens and they are struggling to survive. karma IMO.
  6. HI, what was your source for this out of interest. If accurate it's indeed good news for a lot of us! thx j.
  7. I bet this is a customer cancellation order, where the dealer then charges the new inflated price. hang in there! I am in exactly the same boat but for a Kodiaq RS
  8. We called 3 dealers in Poland with VRSs advertised and these are all customer cancellation orders. The 3 we spoke to said they were ordered 1 x August, 2 x September. Hope this gives some hope for some people.
  9. Yes Paul, they said they were informed by VW Bank who do the financing that they cannot offer this any more regardless of ordering date. They are offering a 4.9 fixed rate with no additional financing fees which is reasonable with all that's going on in the world right now.
  10. I'm still waiting for my Black October 4th 2021 order. Was asked to remove 360, canton and side assist around 3 months ago which I agreed to. the only thing I've heard since is that my zero % finance is no longer available, although I will still take it. On a positive note, I have noticed on the local car site (equivalent of auto trader) there have been 7 or 8 VRSs come available in the last 10 or so days when there were simply none for around 6 months. Colours are primarily blue, red or matt grey and a black one was posted yesterday. There are many sportlines available in all colours so hopefully this indicates things are moving in a positive directly finally (or am I just clutching at straws ) The wait is real!
  11. Would you mind sharing a pic of the side steps with the door open? Looks great and not something I have considered for if/when I ever get my bear! thx and congratulations on getting yours.
  12. Indeed, and if you also factor in the fire which is impacting the door panels for the Octavia you never know - Kodiaq might get some priority on chips due to Skoda not being able to build many other models. Fingers crossed from a selfish perspective but you have to feel for those who are waiting for the other models. It seems to be one thing after another at the moment.

  14. I ordered a VRS on the 7th of October. I was contacted by the dealer two days ago stating that the following were not available and needed to be removed: Blind Spot, 360 Camera and CANTON. This has been mentioned here by others but finally I got it directly from the dealer (in Poland). He also said on agreeing to the reduced spec the price from order date would stand, private orders take priority over lease/dealer cars and finance also gets prioritised in the queue. I was informed max 6 months from now based on agreeing to the removal of these items. Good luck to everyone waiting. The communication in general from Skoda is shocking.
