OK, thanks for the info. I think that where it has a choice it connects to whichever it was connected to previously. I am also finding that sometimes it doesn't seem to want to automatically pick up the connection when it should

OK - I had already ordered the MKIV Octavia one, and only got the rubber mats today - so ignoring the fact it needs a good clean, I attach a photo of what it looks like. It does need the rubber mats to kind of hold it in and the fabia one above may be a better fit although with less coverage. I will live with it for a bit and see how it goes.

Similar to my other thread, I am working through the personalisation options on my recently acquired 2019 Octavia SE L and was under the impression that the electric folding wing mirror positions could be set per user profile (So depending on the person driving (or whose key is in use) the mirrors would go to the preset position). Is this incorrect - I cannot get it to remember the position based on profile. Cheers

Hi I have just got a 2019 Mk3 Octavia SE L DSG 1.5, with the Amundsen radio, and coming from a 2009 Mk2 I am still getting used to some of the bells and whistles. I am liking some of the personalisation options, but am struggling with one thing in particular. What I would like is that when my wife's profile is selected, it connects to her phone, but when my profile is selected, it connects to my phone. I cannot seem to make this happen as the bluetooth pairings and selections don't seem to vary with the profile chosen? If both phones are in the car it chooses to display the contacts etc from the previous one it was connected to even though the driver and profile has changed. When I went into the select phone options, both phones were selected and I could not unselect one. Would be grateful for any advice. Cheers

Actually I have now ordered the MK4 one and so all being well will post back here after the weekend when I hope to have both the car and the mat.

I was wondering the same thing as am picking up my 2019 octavia this week. If no one has tried it or has a similar solution from another model then I might give it a go.
