I have my new Octavia for 11 day now 🤭 I got notification regarding software update. Can I do the update or I need to do it on the dealer?

It has been a long time until I post something. I did cancel my order, and I am waiting for my advanced payment return. I did found another Octavia, it is brand new MY23, it's black and have around 4K € of more additional equipment from one that I did order. That one was ordered last year and buyer cancel order 2 month ago, and this one was finished a month ago. I did check dot on tires and they are Good Year (not sure which model) but dot is 22/2023 so less then two months, buyer was unlucky since when he did cancel order, car get in production. This is one which was not waiting for parts half-completed. So I am very happy with that I will post pictures once when I will pick it up. Maybe this or next week, we are working on lease ATM. Can't wait for activation in the app 🥳

IMHO every parked car will get newest version which will be available at that moment. They will check cars again after they finish them, because they were parked for months, I do not think that will Škoda add doors panel and send cars without checking everything again.

Is this 100% correct that car was not started with production if you do not have VIN?

So basically, if you have luck your car was not already started, but once when try start producing it it will be faster than cars that are half finished. I did get information from dealer, that my car should be delivered around 34/2022. and it's still not in production. No VIN or anything. I did order it on 30 July 2021. But I am not sure it this information is correct, I would like to believe that is, because I will get my car sooner, and if it was parked somewhere no one can know...

Where did you get this information from? Dealer or?

Hello guys! I am new at this forum so I want to greet everyone here I am waiting for my new Octavia 2.0 TDI 150 HP DSG Style + some additional equipment. Where I can find information about software release for Octavia? I see that you have information when new software will came out so I want to know where to check latest version available and then check version in my car when it arrives It should be week 12th 2022.
