Nice article, really highlighting the issue of people still waiting for their last year ordered cars, which the representatives tend to sweep under the rug. Clearly there are many ppl still waiting. And to keep the balance between the electric ones and petrol/diesel versions sure is tricky with the lack of parts for the former - apparently no new arrivals of hybrids and plug ins recently to our dealer (according to the seller). So if they need to wait for a new batch of more eco friendly cars, it sure might take a while longer 😞. Darn, I still hope they manage to work things out. P.S. The default rims for Style are really a bit boring 😎 (but not horrible either)

Music now works, I love it 😍 finally 😁 Not sure what I did apart from connecting to car wi-fi, maybe that was all that was missing. I drove my teenage daugher to school this morning (the only one that isn’t sick at the moment) and she’s beginning to grow on her as well (she would have picked a black car 😉).

Unlike me, who was all around and telling the world as soon as I got some bits of info 😎😊. This evening I spent about 30 mins studying the infotainment, still a work in progress 😁. Had to skip my usual ride to work though due to kiddos being sick. But we have enough time, as long as she’s parked at our home 😍.

I asked the dealer yesterday about the current deliveries and he said that currently they receive no hybrids or plug-ins, but for petrol and diesel the situation is better, some arrive within 2-3 months after the order. About the app - you need your car’s VIN number. My car showed in the app when it received the transport from the factory status.

Feels very nice, drives smoothly, it’s just infotainment that will take some getting used to, my mother-in-law’s Mazda was a no brainer and switched to my Apple music playlist where I left it while listening on a previous ride or at home, while Skoda goes to the alphabetic order and always starts with the same song. But the rest seems 👌. Dsg is smooth, and she looks so much better without the gearbox. I also have the Skoda sign on the floor, I guess they added this now. I sure hope they stick to the plan finally, so you get yours soon as well, fingers crossed 🤞

I saw my car today before the handover on Wed and I was looking for an orange light but found black. My heart sank a bit, thought my worst fear had come true and it’s really missing, but hey, silly me, it only lights up orange when someone is in the spot 😁😊

Man, I was so nervous yesterday evening and this morning, could hardly sleep, mentally preparing myself for arguing because of missing blind spot detection - but it’s all good, it’s there 😊 looks 😍, will have a hard time waiting now until Wednesday (you’ll say what is 4-5 days compared to 14 months, but still 😁). I hope you don’t mind me asking - is this how it looks on the side mirrors with factory built blind spot assist as well? My test car didn’t have this feature so not exactly sure 😊

Ok, this next question might seem silly - can you turn on the infotainment without turning on the engine? Cars with key ignition would turn everything on just by giving contact, but here there is a button start?

Hi all, so on Saturday I am checking the car that is waiting for me at the dealers before actually taking it over next Wednesday. I am planning to check the - interior, - exterior (as much as I can as a non professional), - infotainment sw version, - if the wifi connection is enabled (some of you have reported it missing from available functions), - if the blind spot detection is installed What else do you think might be worth checking before I take her home? Matej10, how did you sort your issue with missing blind spot detection?

Funny thing that happens to me - I already have the car in 6th but still want to shift upwards 😊😊. Will see how I cope with DSG, I’m kind of nervous I have to admit 😁

I was asked, but didn’t go for it as no one guaranteed it would actually be faster.
