Ok, sure, that has to be done, but I was referring to cars being built in that period.

Well nothing will get done in those 2 weeks. And there isn’t only the Skoda factory that gets closed, suppliers have that too. So I guess what doesn’t come out in 30 days from now, will be delivered in September (hopefully).

The initial info was until the end of September. August will be quite hard imho due summer factory closures. Would be nice though 😊

I’m laughing at the last sentence, but the first one makes me sad… Anyway, my dealer mentioned on Monday that things have started to move, they receive a few Octys each week (mine is still parked somewhere, waiting for something…).

Same here in Slovenia, last year they were quite rare but now they are everywhere.

I got info that car went to production on 29/03 (I made all the queries, dealer only called me when there was news of fire), VIN appeared on 11/04 (could be earlier but that’s when I asked dealer if any news). So yes, about a week it is, except for the finished part as it is now mostly missing something…

At this pace they need more than 20 weeks to finish them all, and their plan is to deliver until the end of September? With summer holidays and closures? Sounds legit 😉

😊😊 I try to restrain myself and check 3-4 times 😊. I have the VIN since 11/04 (or that’s when I checked with the dealer and he confirmed this status, could be it is even a bit longer), I asked for it last week to start checking.

Thanks for the article. I even found an apology somewhere in between, but with a note that Skoda customers are quite picky about their cars and hence have to wait 🙄 I thought it was like that everywhere, the customer gets to pick the colour and engine and extra equipment if necessary (active and ambition are not like super equipped imo). So we can blame ourselves for waiting and not picking a car out of stock 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Mine does the same. I think one of the members noticed it appears when car is ready at the factory. Don’t know if you can check anything else with it.

I was thinking the same, I was also told 2 months max, this will be in the next few days.
