I read about the issues in UK in another thread. I’m from Slovenia and it’s just random - most of the times it works but sometimes just doesn’t and can’t figure out why and how to fix it, cause it’s really a nice feature I got used to.

Howdy all only 6 kms left to reach 10.000 kms on my Octy, goes super fast. Anyway, on my home screen I have the navigation with traffic info - very useful as I decide which route to take to get home, depending on the info shown. But hey, sometimes it shows nothing. Any idea what can be done to get the missing info? Turning the unit off and on does nothing. This morning there was real chaos and the map showed nothing? 🤷‍♀️

I ordered my car aug 21 and the price I paid in oct 22 was the same, even though it has gone up a few times in between.

Omg, you have the beige interior, lucky you 😍 I love it but dropped the idea for practical reasons (kiddos) and higher price.. Enjoy the car 😉

Same here, winter went by ok, summer yet to be tested (car received last October).

I find this thread very interesting as a first time owner of a new car with dsg - sure don’t want to mess up things as I tend to use it for several years, so thanks to all who participate in the debate 👍 It also made me try and use the Start/stop which I have been strictly switching off. It does turn the engine off quite fast, sometimes even before coming to a complete stop, but it starts when the car in front of me moves - didn’t expect that, new to Start/Stop as well 😊 But that’s already offtopic so let’s end it here. Will keep following this thread.

Wow, sounds like a great ride, but I agree, the algorithm is really weird. I have the same things on display as you, music and range, thought about changing range to something else but need to check the manual how to do it ☺️ Otherwise I’m enjoying my car, made 7k kms since last October. Sorry for offtopic.

I do the same, I guess worth trying the longer option as well if it really makes a difference. I am already used to staying in the parked car for about a minute when arriving home before turning it off (almost straight from the highway), not sure if still necessary ☺️. This is my first automatic though. @SkOmk4 is this the picture of your dash? I can’t get mine to show me more than 890 kms range when fully tanked, even though it sometimes shows the same number for about 120 kms… goes down and then back up 🤷‍♀️

I only have about 6k km, so no service yet - but will make a call and ask, this can’t be normal behaviour.

Hi all, I hope you guys are ok and enjoying your cars ☺️ Lately I have noticed some issues with the A/C - I have it on auto clima and +28 on both sides (it’s cold outside 😉). After a while, let’s say cca 20 mins, there is a strange smell, some mix of smoke and plastic and some areas of mist appear at the bottom of windscreen, several places. They disappear after cca 10 seconds, the smell also goes away. This morning it happened 3 times in about 10 mins, it’s getting worse. Has anyone else had such or similar issue? Many thanks for your feedback.

This is the part that is worrying me, corrosion and other faults because of the water, in the areas that are not visible. Now they say it’s normal, but when replacement is needed, it will be my fault. This morning after my daily commute to work there was still some of it left, will check again before heading back home in about 2 hrs. No rain today or yesterday, only sun during the day and cold evening / night.

Hey, been driving my Octy for a bit more than 3 months now and noticed this today. Not sure if it happened during driving as it caught our attention about 3 hours after the car was parked. Compared to some other pics one can say it’s not great not terrible, but still not a very nice thing to see.

It happened to me once as well in the morning, it’s quite loud, it scared me 😁 - I guess I should get used to it as well 😊
