  1. Mine was in build for a full four weeks
  2. Cheers Skoda23 😂 I think they are quite unobtrusive but definitely functional. They are Climair, https://www.climairuk.com/search.php?mmy_mode=apply&fmake=67&fmodel=2702 They do 2 versions depending on rubber or chrome window surround.
  3. Thank you Yogi-Bear. The wind deflectors allow me to sleep in the car after fishing trips and let fresh air in but not the rain. I agree, I don’t ever drive with the windows open either but they are combined with full coverage net screens so the midges stay out too. The benefits outweigh any aesthetics issues 😂
  4. Picked up car today and well happy with it. Added a couple of wee bits and changed the hood emblem. 235 days to get here- all the best to those still waiting 😬
  5. Although not on lease, my deal, like many whose current cars soared in value, was indeed super duper and I’d crossed my fingers for 8 months hoping nothing about the deal would change. I’m collecting my Moonwhite VRS on Tuesday and have this morning signed all the finance paperwork: same low % rate as back in October, same £2750 deposit contribution, same unbelievably good trade-in price, and not affected by the two price rises since then. Overall I’m getting this car for nearly £13k less than it would normally have been. It’s been an agonising wait, but worth it for sure. Probably a once in a lifetime opportunity due to the pandemic/chip crisis- let’s hope it is anyway.
  6. Good grief, 4 months longer than me 😩 Well done for hanging in there 👍🏻
  7. I know what you mean, I’m going to compensate the dealer for all the crap he’s taken from me 🍻🍻 😂 His patience has been stellar! How long has your wait been?
  8. Fantastic news 👍🏻, how many months have you been waiting?
  9. Will do 👍🏻 Looks like it’ll be just over 3 weeks from built to dealer if it arrives as expected early next week. Was in production for 4 weeks.
  10. On a cheerier note, one moonwhite VRS has arrived off the boat! 😃 Hoping to pick up next week after 8 month wait; 2 months longer than expected but still less than some…..
  11. VRS with ventilated seats, winter and sleep packs and towbar.
  12. I got a similar letter a couple of months back, the first communication from ŠKODA in 5 months which is pretty poor. Can’t fault the dealer however, they had invented so many different ways to say they still hadn’t heard re a build week! Moving faster now thankfully, on Friday it was at the port released for shipping to uk. Can’t imagine the ships are too busy 🤞🏻
  13. That’s sadly probably true. I’d have been perfectly happy to keep my current Sportline and ordinarily would never have spent (or been able to spend) full price for the VRS had it not been for the perfect storm of unbelievably good trade-in price and factory discount which will still be honoured.
  14. No side assist or Canton added. I went with leather ventilated seats, winter pack, sleep pack and towbar.
  15. Dealer has just confirmed my early October VRS order has now left the factory! Running approx 2 months late from the very initial estimate of 24 weeks but appreciate some guys here waiting much longer. Fingers crossed for a smooth journey to dealer, hopefully by end of May 😬
