So, I seem to be going round in circles trying to get connected to Skoda Connect. Whatever I do I can’t get the car registered, depending on the option I try I get either of the attached error messages. I’ve tried numerous resets, 3 different Wi-Fi networks and a firmware update of the infotainment, all without making progress. Has anyone got any idea how I can get this working? Many thanks in advance!

Did you get a resolution to this? I’m having the same issue with my Amundsen.

Normally I don’t like white and in fact this is my first white car. The colour definitely works on this though and has a nice pearl to it. I’ll get round to machine polishing it at some point and I expect it’ll pop. Gave it a quick once over this morning though.

400 mile round trip today to pick up our vRS TDI from Derek Slack Motors in Middlesbrough. First a big shout out to their sales manager Andy, a top guy, super easy to deal with and described the car perfectly and honestly (a big thing when buying remotely). So far really impressed with the car, drives better than I was expecting it to, certainly better than a 2l diesel estate has any right to! It’s a decent spec without being crazy: Candy White Black Pack+ Dynamic Chassis Control Canton audio Power tailgate No pics other than dealer’s as it’s now filthy, bath time tomorrow!

That’s not actually strictly true, the CRA is most certainly not a 6 month warranty and it does not mean a dealer has to fix any fault. What you might expect from a 3 year old £40k car is different from a 15 year old £1k car. Say for example an incidental fault like a heated wing mirror not working, no dealer is going to fix that under CRA on the £1k example, the car is still fit for purpose.

Hi! Just a quick hello from a new member! Just about to take delivery of a 2018 Octavia vRS TDI estate. I already have VCDS as I have an A3 so no doubt will find lots of useful things to play with!
