  1. Hi Pete, My coolant was pink after the job was done. Mechanic said he flushed about 15 times (could be exaggerated but obviously lots of flushes). I'd probably ask to have it flushed again asap if in your position
  2. Mine is ineuro....Ireland. I didn’t have to replace the mini rad behind the dash for the aircon.... some do. Maybe that explains the price difference?
  3. Hi...yes mine was oil cooler failure. Needed replacement.....several flushes and a new reservoir bottle, and a new rubber tube. All in cost me €900. Any other questions just ask...
  4. Appreciate all imput.....just waiting for confirmation.... mechanic can't take in for couple days.
  5. Hi Pete, I'm looking around the forum trying to get info. I have a 2017 2.0 tdi superb and just recently noticed oil in coolant reservoir tank. Doesn't appear to be water in oil, car seems to run fine. Only reason I checked was I could hear water noise while in the driver seat. Any suggestions or advice would be very welcome! 👍
  6. Tbh, I don't know for sure, friend had a look and this was his suggestion. I suppose the cause still has to be confirmed but I'm assuming wherever the leak is coming from obviously needs attention along with having system flushed. Appreciate all imput advice thanks
  7. I apologise.. .heads a bit fried atm..its a 2.0 tdi superb 2017
  8. Hi it seems my oil cooler is leaking oil into my coolant. Can anyone advise costs involved etc? Im based in Dublin, anyone able to recommend someone for this job? Thanks in advance
  9. Thought as much. If it turns out to be the altenator, on other cars I used to get an over the counter swap for a reconditioned one....that ok with the superb? Thanks again
  10. Hi, just got this message on the dash tonight. I'm assuming either the altenator or battery needs replacing? Anyone experience this one? Thanks in advance 👍
  11. Hi Roy, big jump in power there, make sure to ease into it. ✌️ Best of luck with new addition!
  12. Welcome! Good luck with the new Karoq. 👍
  13. Good news! Apparently "a plug" had become disconnected, and that was the issue. Guy in skoda said there is a plug which connects to the gearbox which controls the electrical functions (I personally wouldn't be familiar with it), but seemingly it became disconnected. He was quick to say his guys normally wouldn't remove it when doing the gearbox oil change, but it seems to much of coincidence to me, anyway sorted no charge.....so gotta be happy with what might have been 👍
