lmao...I'd love that to be the Skoda fix. Absolutely t*at the thing shut.

part replacements should have 24 months warranty? Maybe it's 12....but I'd check 👍

If it’s replaced under manufacturers warranty it will only have warranty until the end of the original warranty period

Is there a guide anywhere for how to do that?

Slacken of the bolts about a quarter turn and tap with a hammer down wood it only needs to move a couple of mm you will see how far it moves as it will have left a mark and re tighten

put the wedges back to to original position first

dont undo the bolts to much as it will move to much

@patrolman  How much do they charge you for the Haldex oil change with a proper clean out, or do you do that yourself?

I haven’t got the karoq any more had it done no my Octavia scout but that was 10 years ago I can’t remember that far ago

£140 is so much better than the Skoda Main Dealers participating in the Skoda Fixed Price Service & Maintenance Deal on 3-10 year old cars who charge £215, or sometimes even more!!

That was at my local dealer Karoq was in for service and a recall and I asked what’s your best price on a DSG service  and they said £140  I do get on well with them bought 5 cars of them

never be afraid to ask for a discount

  5. Ok here goes passengers sitting in the back report they get an echo if some one is talking in the front it seems to be coming from the speakers turning the radio of I’m proves it but it’s still there !

It’s as if the mic is piling it up and playing it back every one that rides in the back comments on it I’ve tried adjusting the sound settings but makes now difference

     any thoughts

  6. Being an ex lease vehicle it was probably sold with a one year warranty (60,000) miles

I’m afraid as a used car buyer you will have an uphill struggle getting any support from Skoda

I would move on if your looking at. Keeping the car I would look at going down the recon engine route

there are som good companies out there supplying re manufactured engines even TPS if your workshop have an account

can be cheaper than you think

Thanks everyone for reply. I'm booked tomorrow for a cleaning to see if improves anything. The new sensor hasn't been adapted so i'll do that aswell. Forgot to mention that the car has problem with the oil it's burning ( 5l in 10k miles ) which i think it made the dpf blocking sooner than it should.

    That’s not going to help

  8. Yes the ash is a by product of burning the soot  you can’t burn the ash, and looking at the pre and post temps I would expect a bigger difference, you all so say you changed the pressure sensor did you carry out an adaption after fitting ?
As said new DPF I’m afraid
