  1. Thank you so much for this info! It seems there exists very little knowledge in internet about Scout suspension outside this forum, glad I found this thread.
  2. Answering to my own question. According to the description from one spare part page, that measurement is the diameter of the shock. So DSG seems to have sturdier shocks.
  3. Found the sticker from service manual. It says in front I have G10+L31 shock absorbers and springs. This leads me to conclusion that at least in this case DSG and manual share the same springs BUT DSG has different shocks. G09 shocks are listed as 5Q0413023GB with length 49,6mm and G10 is 5Q0413031FS with length 54,6mm. So DSG has taller shocks? Weirdly there was no info about rear shocks and springs but one would assume the same that you have will fit. I will choose the stiffest springs anyways. Would hate to have it sagging when towing trailer. Thanks!
  4. Hello, just found this topic by googling. I bought Octavia MK3 2.0 TDI -2015 with DSG yesterday and I find the suspension sagging awfully. So much so that I suspect someone has at some point changed new springs that are not specced to Scout. Both rear and front are sitting much lower than should. Therefore I think it makes no sense to try to interprit the colour codes from existing springs. So I just tried to buy stock Scout springs. But jesus, is it a complicated task for such a common car. Luckily I found this topic. So all in all, I would be very happy if someone could tell which kind of springs and shocks I should buy for this very vehicle, what are the options? Is DSG with same front springs and shocks as the manual version mentioned some posts earlier? Thanks!
