Hey guys, I managed to find one thread about this but wanted to double check with all of you. I would like to change my current standard light switch to one with auto switching. I have a fabia mk3 from 2017 1.2 TSI Ambition. I understand there might be some need for additional light sensor ? I believe however that I do have one already as I noticed many times that my dashboard would dim or increase in lighting depending on ambient lighting. Could anyone guide me to verify what I have first and what light switch I should get ? Thanks a lot

Hey guys, I got a Skoda Fabia MK3 around 2 weeks ago and I am quite satisfied with my purchase. I noticed however that I do not have android auto or carplay on my radio system :/. Below is a picture I took of it... I wanted to ask for your advice on how to best proceed to get android auto. I read around that a software update is possible to enable it but read almost everywhere that I need new hardware. Do you know which it is ? Can you provide me with references in case you have them (maybe linkd as well ?). Also, what do you think of these aftermarket chinese car radio with android, anyone you recommend ? Finally, I am an electronics engineer but this is the first car I own. I feel fairly confident in dealing with electronics, wiring and repair but I wanted to ask for your opinion on whether this will be a hard task for me to do or not ... Thanks a lot guys

No I have not checked the oil. I actually just got it today ... Actually, the light isn’t oil it’s engine right ( in the image attached ) ? I’m really confused because a lot of people seem to say that that is the normal behavior and should disappear after engine turns on ...

Thanks for your quick reply. I just realize that’s the engine light not oil. So if I understand you correctly that light is supposed to be on at that stage and the fact it disappears after the engine starts running is normal.

Hey guys, I just acquired a second hand skoda fabia mk3 2017. I noticed when I put the keys and turn the fob that all dashboard lights turn on after a couples of seconds all turn off except EPC and the oil check warning light which stay on. If I start the car (engine is running) then both epc and oil turn off... Is that normal ? I found one post that said so but couldn't really get why ... Thanks a lot
