  1. I haven’t no. I’m not mechanically minded unfortunately. The dealer has done so in the past I believe though
  2. Also, is this a common issue? Timing chain replaced 49,000km ago.
  3. Since I bought my car 18 months ago it has had a very minor oil leak - diagnosed by the dealer as either a timing case leak or a camshaft cover seal leaking. Skoda have quoted $807 AUD for the repair (£437 for the UK folk). Tonight the car leaked a fair amount of oil on the road after being parked for 2hr so I am inclined to get the repair done, as it doesn’t seem to just be weeping anymore. Does this seem like a reasonable price, and would it be likely to be cheaper at an independent shop? Thanks. 2011 Octavia VRS 2.0TSI
  4. Hi all. Currently looking at purchasing a set of VRS gemini rims (from MK3 2013-19) I have seen advertised online. Wondering if they would fit on my MY12 VRS wagon MK2? Otherwise I had been considering painting my current standard rims in gunmetal grey. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  5. Is it worth replacing it with the APR mount equivalent? Heard that the aftermarket mounts can improve throttle response/gear changes etc etc.
  6. Hi all. Recently took my Octavia RS 2.0TSI DSG to Skoda for an inspection where they noted that my pendulum mount is cracking on the paperwork. Wondering if this is something I should be concerned about as I am not mechanically minded whatsoever and had not heard of this before now. Also is it an expensive repair? Any help would be greatly appreciated. NCR1
