  1. Hi all, A Superb MK II 2.0 CFFB, living in Gent, Belgium here. Reach out if you have a Skoda in the same zone - I'd love to hear more about local mechanics and car part shops. Best, Alex
  2. Hi all, I'd like to ask you about your experience with cleaning and removing the intake manifold on a VAG TDI. In my case, it's a 2012 MK II Superb, 2.0 CFFB TDI, 140 hp. I recently had the CEL come on and a P0121 error code. Taking off and cleaning the throttle body solved the issue. The engine now also stops without shaking and the throttle is more responsive. However, I noticed that the intake manifold is full of carbon. I have come across this thread about the EGR nozzle mod, but I can't find more info regarding a dirty intake manifold. Have any of you experience with either cleaning or removing an intake manifold on a similar engine? One of my main concerns in removing it is keeping debris, accumulated around the seals, from entering the engine. On the other hand, I imagine accidentally pushing chunks of the carbon remains further into the manifold while cleaning it might be bad for the valves. Best, Alex
